Playing as Barnsley in the Championship. Signed Izzy Brown on a free on 5th September after the transfer window closed but I'm not able to register him until January.
An example of a real world signing registered after transfer window closing is Andy Carroll to Reading this season, so I'm presuming it isn't a rule that free transfers can only be registered in transfer windows?
I am playing a network save, and being Barnsley can't afford to sign any more players to further replicate!
