    Got some message about 'not interested due to not following up too many times', agent and scout both said he was interested beforehand. No actual explanation in game for what this means, never seen it before, not even any results on Google

    This is the feature working as intended, if you have misled an agent too many times in negotiations by not following through on your promises, you will get this message.

    However, we will note your feedback, perhaps this is something we can make clearer in the future, thank you.

    I've only broken one promise in this save (strengthen midfield) and have signed several players since, even if that were the issue I don't see how once could be too many times.

    Either way, how is an agent saying 'quite interested' when asked then saying 'not interested at all' when a bid is accepted immediately afterwards not a bug? Was he just lying?

    Could I please have some clarification as to whether this is a bug, if not what's specifically caused it (surely one broken promise over the save isn't the culprit), any workarounds?

    @Zachary Whyte

    What do I have to do to even get a reply on this?

    Can't play the save at the moment; would really like to know why this has happened, if the save is now dead, if this is a bug that will be fixed, if there's a workaround, etc. Even just pointing me to where this feature is explained would be nice, there's literally only one place anywhere I can find that even acknowledges it:

    And everyone in that thread seems in agreement that it's a bug, in contrast to what you've said? Even just confirmation that you're reading these and I'm not just taking to myself would be nice.

    If I had to guess, this is some consequence of overusing the 'ask agent' feature and not proceeding with a bid. This would contradict what you've said about promises though and, again, is seemingly not documented anywhere ingame or online. Please shed whatever light you can on this, as I can't play the game until I know what's going on with it

    Thanks for the update. I eventually found a workaround; getting a bid accepted without asking the agent beforehand worked with the player now interested in negotiations. Unfortunately I don't have the original save now, but it's taught me to save every time before asking agents in future so next time it happens I should be able to provide a save file.

    Will save files with custom dbs be ok?
