Transfer budget is incorrect

You've hit the limit, and now the game is broken. Maybe you can fix it by adjusting the wage budget? Or it could be permanently broken because it has gone negative.

Either way, weird things happen when you get above 2 billion since the number 2,147,483,647 (or hexadecimal 7FFF,FFFF16) is the maximum positive value for a 32-bit signed binary integer in computing. It is therefore the maximum value for variables declared as integers in many programming languages, and the maximum possible score, money, etc. for many video games.

Thank you for your answer! It happens to me even with a lower transfer budget than the number you mentioned. It is probably around 1,7 billion. It only “repairs” when board sets new budget for new season, usually 900 mil so then it resets.

Would it be possible to make a quick fix so the transfer budget never goes over like 1,3 billions so it doesnt happen? 
 

Because I have too much money, my board keeps putting money into reserve funds which is increasing my transfer budget so it is difficult for me to do anything to prevent it.

Hi, I have a similar issue - has this been looked at or is there a way to get around this in the same save? I've invested over 4000 hours into this save and now I can't sign cheap players even with all the money in the world  

I only have around 4 seasons left in the save so this has come at a bad time! What's the best way?
