oasis99
.... a 'coach' and a '1st team coach?' i have about 6 coaches who coach my first team plus 1 'fist team coach' is it that the 'coaches' train the youth team too? if this is the case, then isn't it best to just have 5 or 6 '1st team coaches?' thanks :-)
Smudge249
Yep you got it, a " Coach" will work with both 1st team and youth players whereas "First Team Coach" will soley concentrate on first team. I have a few youth team coaches, couple of first team ones and the rest just normal. Depending how many coaches the board will let you have will determine if you can have a high number of only Youth and First Team coaches. By having staff that can train both you reduce the workload that they have
ism-scfc
I've never known if its better to have specialist First Team and Youth Coaches or just general coaches Say you can have 8 coaches is it better to have 2 youth coaches, and 6 FTC's or just 8 general coaches? oasis99
Ok. So you think i should get rid of 'coaches' and have say 4 or 5 youth coaches and 5 or 6 '1st team coaches'?
Elrithral
Ok. So you think i should get rid of 'coaches' and have say 4 or 5 youth coaches and 5 or 6 '1st team coaches'? I'd usually have just one first team coach and a bunch of ordinary coaches. I see the first team coach as the leader of the pack, the captain of the coaching team. PhroX
If you're at a big club, and can have enough coaches for both youth and 1st team, then yes, go for it. However, many clubs are very limited in the number of coaches they can have, so going for "coach" allows them to train both youth and senior players with one person (though, presumably, not quite as well as having two separate ones).
