uae4life
what does it mean when a player's potential rating is -10,-9,-8,-7, etc.. if a player is -10 does it mean he is 190-200 pa ?
mendi
-10 = 170-200 -9 = 150-180 -8 = 130-160 and so on... So -10 pretty much guarantees he will be world class
oTRUTHo
proveiding your scout gets it right?
mendi
proveiding your scout gets it right? What do you mean? You can only see the negative potentials when you are in the data editor. A scout report won't give you a number, only a comparison with your current players

uae4life
if a player doesn't play often during 16-20 years of age, and say he starts playing at 21+ then he will never reach his potential later ?
phnompenhandy
if a player doesn't play often during 16-20 years of age, and say he starts playing at 21+ then he will never reach his potential later ? Depends on the gap between his CA and PA. If it is vast, he is very unlikely to reach his PA. It's worth bearing in mind when you're after a foreign youngster or regen who can't come until he's 18 and then needs 2-3 years at your feeder to get a work permit.
