mudsterman
HUGE mistake SI, I was posting in the stories forum but found the 'post reply' option has dissapeared. I logged out and back in, and saw the lovely new careers forum - BUT THE STORIES FORUM HAS GONE! WTF?
ahmufcwafc
As soon as the careers forum is made. Hmm... Probably just a small mistake that can be fixed easily.
Cardiovascular
http://community.sigames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22 You'll have to use links for now, that works.
SI Staff Ter Posted July 9, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted July 9, 2009 I can still see the FM Stories forum here http://community.sigames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22 Seems to be a slight problem with it though...
mudsterman
Hopefully- there will be outrage if they have deleted the whole thing... At least I was the first ever career forum poster, before the mods had even moved the other three threads in...
mudsterman
OK, we can get there with links in posts now, but we still can't post... I see Terk edited my title as requested at 13:10, not sure if the careers forum was up then though...
mudsterman
Just checked, it was live then, so the mods can still edit stuff it seems.
Balthazars
Yes, you have removed the link to the stories forum, and it appears that we cannot post in any of the threads there. FMS may be a relatively small, and somewhat un-noticed section of the FM community here, but we are very active, and very vocal. Please fix this as soon as possible. If nothing else, just so that tenthreeleader can finish posting his story!!
Polar Bear
The Stories forum contains some terrific work from some very talented and committed people. I hope it is restored to its rightful place as soon as possible.
Thomaz
Very dissapointing to see, hopefully just an error on the board.
ahmufcwafc
Clerical error apparently, hopefully it's fixed soon.
Balthazars
I'm just relieved to see that at least all the threads are still intact. If I (and others) had to repost all of our work so far, I'd probably pull out all of my hair with frustration!
elgreenio
clerical error wiped a lot of stuff last time iirc
mudsterman
Do SI know if this will be back up today?

Elrithral
Should I be concerned about my 17,000 word story?
BenArsenal
Feck me. So it is... I loved the story forum.
Saxonaitor
I would feel terribly guilty if the new careers thread killed the stories :(
Balthazars
Should I be concerned about my 17,000 word story? Try getting worried when it gets to 67,000+ words like mine! Actually, there are much, much bigger in FMS as well. I shudder to think how many words Ratpack is! But even scarier is the idea that it might never be finished! Actually, it seems that all the threads are intact, we just can't post in them and there is no visible link to it apart from using a direct url. So here's hoping this gets resolved in a reasonably fast period of time and everything returns right where it should be!
SI Staff Ter Posted July 9, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted July 9, 2009 Should be back now

Ryknow
Just an example of why FM stories should be backed up. Im working on mine in word, hopefully will get around to posting it, just takes so long.
