footballer
I currently manage Manutd and i have received a lot of money but my board keeps putting the money into some fund for the future will it actually help ? Like for e.g. this season they put in something like £124 million into the trust fund.
chopper99
Nope, it's just a way to stop you accumulating massive and unrealistic amounts of money.

footballer
but then why don't the board use the money to pay of the debt ?
trekman
but then why don't the board use the money to pay of the debt ? The ability to pay off debts early doesn't appear to be in the game. I personally think this is a shame especially for teams like Man U and Liverpool who, unless you've cheated and altered or removed their debts, always seem to go into administration and\or get relegated in the game. jstein1967
ive had debts paid off before in this game, sometimes they pay the whole thing off or just little bits randomly
backpackant
The game cannot cope with balances over a certain amount (£2billion, I think) so when it gets close you get the board investing elsewhere.
