johandenver
Hello! If I download a bunch of different user-created leagues for the new database in FM2010. How will the editor/game handle the unique id's of players, clubs and such? I imagine there'll be a huge risk of conflicts if things were to work as they do in FM2009. Also, creating logos and such for the new leagues seems like a nightmare. Has anything been said about this?
SI Staff Ter Posted September 4, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted September 4, 2009 In most cases the competitions and teams will already be present in the database so there shouldn't be any issues assigning logos to teams and competitions. Not sure what would happen if two different editor data files had the same unique id for players created though. One for QA to look at I suspect! johandenver
Yes, clubs should be fine then :-) But let's say I create a new player in my database and my buddy creates one in his. Wouldn't they automatically get the same id since the game starts assigning unique id's at the same place in both databases?
