Excellent idea. I was considering a similar slant for my Conference wonderkids sign-up, but decided against it. I'd like to do something like this, having a real dig at a rubbish player would be fun! Update for August 2007 News Youngsters turn professional - A plethora of young players have secured their futures at their current clubs, with Ginola, Philipens, Li, Cowton, Pitt, O'Furniture, Healy, Dos Santos, King, Putmobile, Druce and de Goal all accepting professional deals. Van Hatetaylor and Ahmed agree to loan deals - Eduardo Van Hatetaylor and Andy Ahmed accept loan deals at their respective clubs' feeder clubs. The youngsters obviously hope that the chance to develop at a lower level will benefit their careers in the long run. D'Anglais and Billen turns down professional deals - Harry D'Anglais and Andrew Billen both turned down offers of professional contracts with their current clubs, holding out hope either for a better deal... or a better club. Liga BBVA side Cordoba keeping tabs on Philippens - Press reports are surfacing that Spanish second division side Cordoba are interested in securing the signature of young Belgian striker Loïc Philippens. It remains to be seen whether Merida will be willing to let the youngster leave.
