josha007
I'm having problems in getting my midfielders to pass it to my strikers feet. They seem to just hoof it up to them. Even though I have my midfielders on short passing with low creative freedom, and they do have other options to pass to as well, they are still lumping it up. I know you can set a striker as a target man then tick 'to feet' but I'm not sure that works too well on FM09. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks
SSJ3-BROLLY
Depending on the quality of your supply, get your striker(s) to create space for themselves and they should be picked out with good passing?
josha007
I've got decent strikers (Stancu, Delfouneso,COwan-Hall and Fonseca) in 2012. But how can I get them to create more space for themselves?

shootie
Set them as target man and put the target man supply "to feet"
Larsson1888
Short passing to those who will feed the strikers.
petey_g
Your players are probably resorting to lumping it up to your strikers because even though the passing is set to short, there is too big a gap between the strikers and the midfield. Using an AMC might help this, or putting one of your strikers on 'free role' and rarely making forward runs will allow him to drop deeper to act as a link between the midfield and strikers. Larsson1888
Also have your mentality for your midfield closer to normal than attack.
