pires29
I remember in previous versions of the game if a player was homesick there was an option to give him a few weeks leave so he could go home then come back and hopefully feel a bit happier where he is at. I ask because I have a young Italian CB who "hasn't settled as well as he would like in the area." I've also been asked in a press conference whether I would allow him to leave so I went onto his profile and couldn't find an option to send him home. He is just 17 and still in my U-18's so I don't need him in the squad but he is a good prospect and i'd like to do as much as I can to help him reach his potential. Does anybody know if this is still in the game or have I just missed it?
FrazT
You cant do this unless either you get a news item directly from the player or from your Asst. The option isnt available from press speculation.
pires29
Was it not possible to do it in previous games without having to be asked?

rinso
iirc, it depends on how unsettled the player is. if it just says "hasnt settled as well in the area as he would like" then you cant send him on leave of absence. If, however, it says "having trouble adjusting to the lifestyle", then you can do it.

tottenhamfmo7
Maybe if you do it via player interaction and just say to him that you're going to rest him for a few weeks. Mighten that brighten his spirits!
