ewok01
I went to install the gold demo and it comes up as a "high" risk and wants to fix it (I am guessing delete the 1gig file). Should I turn Norton off and why is it seeing the new demo as a high risk? Cheers
FrazT
There is nothing risky in the download if you got it from one of the approved download sites.
Milk Lizard
Norton is just a really bad security package. Seriously even the free software like avg is better than norton and if you do use money on anti virus get something good (nod32 or kaspersky) that doesnt act up and make your computer slow as ****. DavePott
What an idiot^^. Norton is by far the best anti virus out there. Ive had it for news, never hadany problems and it certainly dosnt slow your computer down. Unlike the nod32 or Kaspersky which are just shocking. Back to the op, where did you download it from? ewok01
There is nothing risky in the download if you got it from one of the approved download sites. I downloaded it from a recommended site from your links of options, norton 2010 for some reason says it is a high risk, anyway I excluded it, installed and am playing. Maybe Norton being to over the top because it is a .exe file. Thanks anyway. Cheers
Chonk
here is the solution: 1- you can restore your fm.exe from "options" when it gave error. or you can go to "quarantine" section and restore. 2- and you should disable your norton for fm installation. after that enable it again. stevio11
Use the new AVG.i RUN IT AND HAVE NO ISSUES LIKE I DID WITH NORTON. FM runs like a dream on my Aspire 5536 with avg in the background and i don't have to knock it off either.

dave byrd
The best advice i can give you is uninstall Norton, it's crap. Microsoft Security Essentials will do just fine and it's free.
