Gelbs
I always prefer to play a short, fast, tempo style, keeping possession, being patient at times whilst trying to score/move forward fast as possible. Which is kind of similar to direct style. Is direct style less passing?

Eles Gergo
Somewhat less passing yes, it means your players will try to pass the ball to the front as fast as possible -----> to the wingers or strikers.
RossoneriGunner
Short passing will be to a teamate who is close to him gradually building up the play, whereas a direct pass will ignore teamates standing close and pass to your forwards or attackers missing out teamates in between. timmy
Notice that when I tried to short passing with Arsenal the percentage of possession is usually less than 50% but with direct it is often more than it. Strange I thought it would be the other way around.
