tdurbo
forgive me for bein thick, but am loading the editor and I seem to be only saving a .xml file when I'm saving it as...etc etc So where do I put this xml file and why when I go into the game, when I click New Game, does it give me no option to load a DB it cannot be finding whatever I've saved. Hmmm
Marek_Hamsik
Yeh im gettin the same thing as tdurbo. All i wanna do is make sure the competition names are real and make sure I have the correct players, if u know what i mean. I used to have a folder with the database name, and I could put the files into it, but now I cant find it.
Super Bladesman
Read the stickies, guys You don't make changes to the database directly in FM10 - you merely save it as a change 'xml' file. The game then uses that to make changes when the database is built for a new game.
Gooner Nation
The.xml files you saved are found at C:\Documents and Settings\Name\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\editor data If you only have one save game file it is the default one chosen when you start a new game. If you have more than 1 in the pop up box where you choose the db you want to use when starting a new game it says Editor Data Files x number enabled (x in total) and a box to tick if you want to change at the bottom. Tick the box and press ok. In the next screen you can choose which ones you want to load.
