Jimmyt
That my defenders continually stand and watch long balls over the top which gives the attacker a five yard head-start. I'm conceding goal after goal after goal like this. Long punt, run through on goal, bottom corner. It's more frustrating because I have a pace attacker with target man instructions to 'run onto ball' and it doesn't work for me. How do I get my side to do it, or better yet, how do I stop them doing it at will? I've tried messing about with the depth of my defence.
Methuselah
Try setting your mentality to defensive, and set you back-line to deep. Should do the trick, although be warned that you will probably give away loads of penalties.
RyanBRFC
My CBs constantly both run towards the player with the ball and leave a massive gap as they have both gone. How I concede most of my goals
Jimmyt
I don't want to play 'defensive' though. I want my players to do the basics that you learn in primary school. i.e. sticking with your man and not daydream!
