Millsy
Found in Good Player & Team Guide F.A.Q. XIX. What are the most important stats for various positions? Link
RT--
I wouldn't take that list as the final word, by the way. Decisions apparently not important for center-backs? Composure not important for attacking midfielders or strikers? First touch not important for anyone?
bigdunk
Go into the Tactics screen, select View->Player Instructions on the right hand side and then select a player on the left. It should list all the attributes that are important for his position, role and duty. (That's done from memory, so it might not be exactly right, but it's something like that). Or when you have a full team selected just click on the players shirt and it'll give you the same thing. This is as reliable a way to find them out as you can get. Spend 20-30 minutes making shortlists for each position/role if you can as it'll serve you well for the rest of your saves.
