FM Addick
I am sure we have all had one of the following scenarios when trying to sign a player or trying to get one to sign a new deal: - Offer a 1 year contract, but the player wants 2 years, and no amount of negotiation leads to a solution - Offer a 2 year contract, but the player wants 3 years, and no amount of negotiation leads to a solution Now, what happens a lot IRL but not in game is the option to say: "right, here's the deal - you can have 1 year, and a 2nd year automatically if you play 25 games" Would love to see this introduced in game - the number of games should be a drop down options of 15/20/25/30 games. What does everyone think?
Salvector
I think it is a fair idea, perhaps a little bit of tweaking could be involved. It was actually on ESPN Soccernet today, Sebastian Larsson, his contact ends June 2010, but the club itself has the option to extend it for a further 12 months, which isn't possible in FM has of yet. Perhaps the whole transfer/ contract negoitation aspect of FM could be overhauled next?
phil101
would like to see injury prone players more accepting of pay as you play deals. but yours is a good idea
