George Soutar loyal
After struggling to 7th in my first season playing on line with my mate trying an assortment of 'super tactics' gathered from other 'expert managers' on the forums and my own extensive football knowledge i was on the brink of despair with fm10 prefering instead to hark back to the good old days of fm09 and bemoaning everything about fm10. i wasnt enjoying the new more complex tactics and interface.however into ma 2nd season that all changed with the introduction of the 4-2-3-1 formation with arshavin in the 'hole' playing out of his skin linking superbly with nasri on the left and a.young on the rite(both inside forwards) and milevskiy up front. all of a sudden im flying and the brand of football is superb. i had a big clearout bringing in 50m dd selling diaby, denilson, walcott(loan),eduardo, and some young fringe players replacing them with veloso, milevskiy, young and vuckevic. im lovin champ again!! btw does anyone think the clearout is the main reason 4 the big change in fortunes? charlo116
Personally i've had a lot of success with liverpool using the 4-2-3-1, i think its one of the best formations to use on fm 10. That might be why your team is playing better, particularly if you bought better players after clearing out those you didn't need.
George Soutar loyal
some mite say that diaby, denilson, walcott and eduardo r better than vuckevic, veloso, ashley young and milevskiy tho. infact irl they probably are!!
