LemonTea
"Regenerated" players? How do I find these, and when do they appear? Many thanks.
Brian Shanahan
FREDs (what they are now), appear at the start of every season for each league activated in your game e.g. July in England and January in Brazil, some will also appear at the start of the game. If you want a lot of regens out of the block and only stay in Europe pick Germany as a league (they start in June). Any player/staff member in the game with a computer generated face is a FRED, so just look at the pictures, but if you want to search for them early on keep your filter to players under 18 and you will find loads. A lot of SI staff are included as regens type "faceinthegame" into the search box along the title bar.

Brian Shanahan
They're the third evolution of regens. First you had newgens same stats same clubs just younger, then you had newgens completely new players now you have FREDs newgwens only more (sorry I'm not an employee so I'm not sure of the exact difference). But everyone still calls them newgens, so I shouldn't have confused everyone, my bad.
silva_gunner
I think its actually the second version. Regens are the retired players reincarnated. FREDs on the other hand are completely randomly generated.
