Jose Manuel Arevalo- Following a move to Champions league qualifiers Toulouse, Jose would have expected a big step up. However, his new teams poor domestic form throughout meant they finished in bottom place in the French league and facing relegation. Their European form was better, as Jose was a key part in a side which finished just two goals away from qualifying from the group stages. Jose was solid despite the inconsistency of his team, averaging 7.00 in the competition. Making 50 starts, Jose scored 3 times with an average rating of 6.74. Jose also won his 23rd cap for Andorra. It looks unlikely that the strong centre-back will stay for much longer as Portsmouth and AC Milan are said to be watching the youngster. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Finally when he moves to a big club, they get relegated icon_frown.gif although it's a good sign that he keeps playing relatively well icon_razz.gif

Brief 2010/11 pre-season update

Adaminho- Despite the Rangers' legend being unsettled by ast year's performance, Adaminho has stayed put for the mean time. After finishing third in the Scottish players player of the year award, the England Under-19 international still claims he wants to join a bigger club. But some success this season may ease his mind.

Jose Manuel Arevalo- In the pre-season Jose has made it his target to leave relegated Toulouse. Handing in a transfer request and making it perfectly clear he wants to leave. Although no bids have been made yet, clubs said to be interested are FC Bayern, AC Milan, Fenerbache, HSV, Napoli and... Southend!

Mike Bird- While he has suffered a reasonably disappointing start to his career, Bird has been patient enough to stay at Man City. In the reserves and listed for loan, Bird is eager to gain first team experience. And pre-season form as been impressive, scoring twice in his two starts.

Bobinho- Has recently signed a new contract with Middlesbrough for £7,000 per week until 2013. And it could be a good move, as Bobinho now finds himself included in Boro's first team. But if things don't work out, Leicester are said to be interested.

Peter Brown- Now included in West Ham's first team setup, Brown is enthusiastic about his future.

Adam Clatworthy- Despite interest from some top clubs, the wonderkid has stayed at Sunderland to continue his affiliation with Juan King. Now rated at £7 million, Clatworthy looks certain to be a first team regular this season.

Alfonso de silva Santos- After completeing his £3 million transfer to Seria A contenders Roma, Alfonso has expressed his desire to impress his new manager.

Robert Dillon- After an impressive season in Germany, it didn't take long for the vultures to circle around his underperforming side. But it was AC Milan who signed the wonderkid, for a massive £17.5m transfer fee. And pre-season signs are promising that Dillon could be starting in Milan's three-pronged attack.

Fredino- Still wants away from Scunthorpe, even though they managed to get in to the Premiership. No offers have been made for the striker. But Charlton, Fulham, Portsmouth and Napoli are all said to be interested.

Frketson- In the pre-season, Frketson completed his move from Wigan to play alongside Ronaldinho and Henry at Spanish giants Barcelona. Frketson was also involved in Croatia's 2010 World cup campaign where he played every game until his side were eliminated from the second round in a 3-2 defeat to Scotland. Taking his tally to 18 caps.

Pablo Gonzalez- Pablo's pre-season has been spent trying to improve his standing in the Celta first team. And his form in the friendlies has shown promise as he has scored 3 times in 5 games with a 7.60 rating.

Haowan- Haowan hopes to cement a first team place for Portsmouth's Premiership campaign this season. And in the pre-season he has done well, making 3 appearances, scoring 2 with 1 assist and a 7.33 rating. Although he will most likely spend the best part of the season on the bench, with this form he will force his way in to the first team at some point.

Juan King- In site of Marseille and Lazio's obsession with Juan King, the wonderkid has chosen to stay at Sunderland. And with a 7.25 rating from his four pre-season appearances he looks set to resume his wonderkid partnership with Adam Clatworthy.

Quincy Klapatross- In the pre-season Quincy became the subject of transfer speculation following his disappointment with his club. And it was Bolton who put forward the cash, with a whopping £19.75 million transfer offer accepted. Making Quincy the star player in a mid-table rated Bolton side. And it didn't stop there, as Quincy was named in the Dutch 2010 world cup squad. Expecting to spend most of the tournament on the bench, the striker was brought on after 62 minutes for his international debut against Nigeria. Quincy completed the dream when he scored in the 80th minute to seal a 1-1 draw. A near £20m transfer and a goal in the World cup on his debut capped made an excellent pre-season for Quincy.

Callum McCarthy- At the end of a solid season for West Ham, Callum was delighted to be called up for England's 2010 World cup squad. And it couldn't have got much better for McCarthy when after spending the first two games on the bench, he was named in the starting squad for the crucial group game against Ghana. The left-back had a dream debut by scoring the winning goal in a 2-0 victory and winning the MoM award. But Callum was left out as England progressed, until he was brought on as a sub in the 2-0 semi-final defeat to Argentina. But Callum started in the third placed playoff against Spain, and played well for the whole match until they finally lost out on penalties. All this experience will be of undoubted benefit to the youngster for next season.

Brendan Petersen- Throughout the pre-season Brendan has made it clear that he wants away from Burnley as soon as possible. Although no clubs have yet expressed an interest in the ambitious Aussie keeper.

Loic Philippens- After spearheading Portsmouth's successful promotion campaign last season, Loic was rated as a wonderkid and became the subject of transfer speculation. Then Manchester United stepped up and signed the 20 year-old forward for £18 million. Although Loic has missed the pre-season friendlies with a torn groin muscle, it is clear that he is a big part of Carlo Ancelotti's future plans. And Loic is delighted that he has been given the opportunity to fulfil his childhood dreams by performing at his favourite club and at one of the World's biggest clubs.

Tom van der Fish- Still under tuition from Dean Ashton, Tom will hope to stay injury free and re-establish himself in the West Ham first team.

Arthur White- Following an excellent season where he won the Premier league with Newcastle, Arthur achieved yet another career milestone by being called up to England's 2010 World cup squad. The explosive striker won his second England cap when he started up front with Wayne Rooney in the crucial group match against Ghana, where he was given a 7 rating. Although White made no further World cup appearances, there can be no doubt that he will be one to watch next season.

Ben Whitehead- Ben has declared himself enthusiastic about his future at Sunderland followin last season's breakthrough. While he will most likely be a fringe first team player, the explosive winger will hope to add to his tally of performances and force his way in to Redknapp's first team plans.

would i be dreaming if it was me who got a hat-trick on my international debut lol

my guess for that would be Arthur White or Loic Philippens.

I'm guessing I'm the loser who gets stuck at sunderland.

Loic prbably got a fee nearing 30 mil as a wonderkid and maybe Jose manuel arvalo aswell or Adminho.

Unsure who would go to scotland maybe Mike Bird or at a push Brendan Petersen.

When do we expect the next updates?

I'm loving this sign-up btw Gypsum, great work so far. Keep Up The Good Work.

Hopefully i'll be done within an hour. About half way through now. As things are really kicking off now, there's a lot more to write about. So it can potentially take a bit longer.

And thanks for the compliment. I'm enjoying it.

Transfer window update, Febuary 1st 2011

Adaminho- The ambitious striker declared his intentions to leave Ibrox at the beginning of the season, but it hasn’t blunted his form for the Rangers side that love him. In 20 starts this season the former England Under-19 international has bagged 12 goals with a 7.10 rating and won the young player of the month award in October. Although he is still intent on moving to a bigger league, Adaminho is relieved by the interest being shown in him by Sunderland, Napoli and his childhood favourites Liverpool. As the transfer window closes, Adaminho will want to impress in the remainder of the season for a Rangers side 5 points clear at the top, if only to seal a dream move to New Anfield.

Jose Manuel Arevalo- Despite the disappointment of relegation last year, Jose has stuck with Toulouse for the time being at least. While he remains unsettled and publicly declares his intentions to leave, the two clubs said to currently be after the Andorran , Southend and Leverkusen, have yet to make a bid. Toulouse currently sit in third place in pursuit of retaking their place in the top division, and Arevalo has contributed with 2 goals in 22 starts with a 6.77 rating. Jose has now won 24 caps for Andorra.

Mike Bird- Disappointment would be the one word to sum up Mike’s career so far. Despite showing willing in the reserves and playing brilliantly, he was never given the first team chance he hoped for. But this season may have changed all that. While still in the reserves, scoring typically well 12 in 10 starts with a 7.38 rating, Bird may have cut a niche for himself as a cup specialist in Alex McLeish’s side. Given a start in the League cup second round match against QPR, Bird impressed, scoring just before half time and finishing the match with a 8 rating. Mike went on to start in the 3-2 win over West Brom in the next round where he scored a brace to win the match. This form impressed enough to see him included on the bench for a number of matches, before being brought on for his only Premiership appearance this season against Portsmouth. While it may not be the big breakthrough he dreamed of, it is the chance he has been hoping for. But Mike has had no problems gaining international recognition, as he has now made 25 Under-21 appearances for Portugal, scoring 17 goals.

Bobinho- Another player who has suffered from a lack of first team opportunity, Bobinho has been given his big break this season as Middlesbrough suffered relegation. So far the explosive striker has scored 8 times in 17 starts with a 7.10 rating, form which has seen Boro push to second in the Championship. This form has also won him a Welsh full international call-up. Realising his mistake of waiting for an England chance, Bobinho made his debut against Bulgaria and scored on his debut! He made a less illustrious second appearance in the 1-0 defeat to Greece. Bobinho will be delighted to finally play regular first team football.

Peter Brown- After making brief first team appearances in the previous seasons, Brown was given an opportunity to become a more regular fixture when started in West Ham’s opening UEFA cup match against Serbian side Bezanija. And he wasted no time by scoring in the first minute! From then on, Brown has been excellent. Playing in a rotation system he has made 10 first team starts, scoring 7 times with a 7.50 rating. At just 19, Brown is carving out a reputation for himself as a ruthless goalscorer. Especially after winning Decembers goal of the month with a cheeky lob over the Pompey keeper. Brown has also won his first England Under-21 cap.

Adam Clatworthy- Making himself a fixture in the Sunderland first team last season, Adam continued to be highly rated by Redknapp. Although he may not have performed as well as hoped for the bottom half club. He started 8 games, scoring 1 and creating 1 with just a 6.67 rating. But even before the transfer window opened, there was a flurry of activity by clubs who recognised the explosive strikers potential. A deal was agreed with Chelsea after they made a massive £29.5 million bid and Adam signed the £41,000 contract, joining as soon as the window opened. His Chelsea debut came in the FA Cup 3rd round match against Watford. And the Northern Ireland international was in awesome form, opening the scoring and going on to make a debut hat-trick and win the Man of the match award in a 6-0 thrashing. In a squad rotation system, Clatworthy has gone on to make 5 first team starts, scoring 5 and creating 1 with a 7.60 rating. He has also won his eleventh Northern Ireland cap.

Alfonso de silva Santos- 19 year old wonderkid Santos has rarely disappointed with his form, but when making the big move to Roma, he would have expected to take time to settle. But that has not been the case. Making 10 appearances so far, Alfonso has hit the net 5 times and won 1 MoM award with a 7.20 rating. And his best form has been in the Champions league where he has been a regular starter, scoring a crucial winning goal at Celtic park. Alfonso has also gone on to win his 27th Andorran cap, although he can boast only two international goals. With a promising start, Alfonso will hope to remain involved for the remainder of Roma’s European and domestic campaign.

Robert Dillon- Following his big move from Bochum to Italian giants AC Milan, Dillon would have been happy to simply be involved with first team duties. And he has been in he thick of the action so far. In his 14 appearances, mostly on the left side, the wonderkid has got 3 goals and 2 assists, although his average rating of 6.36 needs some improvement. Showing promise at domestic level, Dillon has been given his first taste of international football by being involved in the England Under-21 setup and winning his first cap. While his future is undeniably promising, Dillon will have to put the guitar to one side and concentrate on his football.

Fredino- Fredino started the season as a reluctant member of Scunthorpe’s premiership campaign. While condemned to relegation, the side slumped to 18th in the league, and Fredino’s form suffered as he scored just 2 goals in 18 starts with a 6.89 rating. But his hell was not to last much longer. As the transfer window opened, Celtic came in with a £18.25 million bid for the explosive striker and Fredino didn’t take long to sign a £70,000 a week contract. Since the big move Fredino has made 3 starts, scoring in his third. And with the title race with Rangers set to go to the wire and the Champions league knockout stage set to start he looks set to become a first team regular at a very exciting time at Celtic park.

Frketson- Following a big move to Barcelona, wonderkid Frketson would be pleased merely to escape Wigan. But the Croatian centre-back has gone one better, making his way to the fringe of the first team. He has been on the bench for a majority of his time at the Nou camp, but has still won 5 starts, even scoring on his debut against Levante, with a 6.80 rating. While in a rotation system at Barca, Frketson has sealed his place as a regular starter for the Croatian national side, recently winning his 22nd cap. In the remainder of the season, Frketson will hope to be involved in improving Barcelona’s fourth placed standing in the Spanish league.

Pablo Gonzalez- Starting the season in Celta’s B-side, Pablo scored 6 in his 4 starts, with an average rating of 8.00. This form was good enough to earn him a call up to the first team. And although he has yet to make an appearance this season, Gonzalez has been seen regularly on the bench and it can only be a matter of time until he gets an opportunity. Especially as he is keen to learn under the tutelage of Brazilian Ricardo Oliviera.

Haowan- Keen to make an impression in Portsmouth’s Premiership campaign, Haowan has been on blistering form for the reserves. In 11 starts he bagged himself 12 goals earning a 7.62 rating. This form was good enough to earn a place on Boothroyd’s bench for the match against Birmingham. At 2-1 down, Haowan was brought on, scoring in the 83rd minute to equalise. But just a minute later, Birmingham took a 3-2 lead to win the match. Despite an impressive Premier league debut, Haowan has yet to make another appearance. But like Mike Bird, Haowan’s potential has not gone unrecognised internationally. Since being called up to the Spanish Under-21 side, he has been in excellent form, scoring 5 goals in 5 games.

Juan King- Before Redknapp could even try Juan King this season the powerful striker s the subject of transfer speculation. And without kicking ball in anger he was signed by Marseille for £11.5 million on a £34,000 a week contract. Playing up front with Djibril Cisse, Juan has helped Marseille to second place in the French league by scoring 6 in 22 starts, with a 6.91 rating. Good form, if a little short on goals. King has time to add to his goal tally as Marseille are through to the knockout stages of the UEFA cup. Juan has also gone on to win his 21st Northern Ireland cap, with 8 international goals to his name.

Quincy Klapatross- Following his £19.75 million move to Bolton, Quincy has proven himself worth every penny of his £63k a week contract. In 17 starts, he has bagged 8 goals for a Bolton side challenging for Europe, including the equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal, earning a 7.06 rating. While Quincy continues to be named in the Dutch national side, he has yet to add to his one cap. For the rest of the season the explosive striker will hope to continue his impressive form and build on his growing reputation.

Callum McCarthy- Following an impressive season with West Ham, and a fantastic World cup campaign, Callum would have been itching to kick off the new season in style. And he did just that. In 15 starts for West Ham he had scored 1 and created 2, with a 7.20 rating. This was form which did not go unnoticed by the World’s elite teams. But it was Inter Milan who put the money forward, paying £28.5 million for the versatile left flanker. And it was a dream start, as Callum scored on his debut for the Italian giants against Chievo. With half the season remaining, the man capped five times for England, will hope to become a regular first team fixture at the Guiseppe Meazza.

Brendan Petersen- Despite Brendan’s barely concealed unrest at Burnley, the Aussie keeper has yet to find a way out of Turf Moor. Currently mid-table in League 1, Petersen has made 30 starts, conceding 37 goals and keeping 6 clean sheets with a 6.73 rating. The ambitious goalie also won his 12 Under-21 cap, but now finds himself involved in the full international setup. However, it will almost certainly take a move to a big club for Petersen to become first choice for his country.

Loic Philippens- Following a dream move to Manchester United, Loic was happy to work hard to earn a first team opportunity. Starting in the reserves Loic was sensational, scoring 8 in 7 starts with a 7.43 rating. It didn’t take long for Ancelotti to give the Belgian his big break, albeit a possible baptism of fire as he started against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. But Loic made a magical start, scoring in the first minute. Although the game ended 1-1, Loic made a big impression, finishing with a 8 rating and winning the Man of the match award. To date Loic has made 6 starts and 3 sub appearances for United, getting 2 goals with a 7.00 rating. The Belgian wonderkid has also impressed for his nation’s Under-21 side, bagging 11 goals in his 14 caps. And he must surely be knocking on the door for a full international cap.

Tom van der Fish- The benefit of being tutored by Dean Ashton is starting to show for Tom. In the reserves he has made 16 starts, scoring 8, creating 6 and winning 6 MoM awards with a 7.38 rating. This form was enough to encourage manger Roy Keane to give the Northern Ireland international his first start this season, in a home match against Liverpool. And Tom wasted no time, scoring in the third minute as his mentor Ashton watched on from the bench. Tom played the full 90 minutes, earning himself a 7 rating as his side drew 1-1 with the title contenders. A promising start which he will hope to add to before the end of the season.

Arthur White- Following the 2010 World cup appearance, it may have been a struggle for White to live with the weight of expectation. But the model professional has taken it all in his stride. Shortly after the season started he was chosen to start up front with Rooney in the Euro qualifier at Wembley against Sweden. But in this game only one man made the headlines. Opening his scoring in the 16th minute, Arthur went on to score a hat-trick before being subbed off on the 76th minute to a rapturous ovation and a Man of the match award. Arthur has gone on to win his fifth cap, with a total of four goals for his country. White’s domestic form has also impressed. As Newcastle sit in sixth place, the explosive striker has contributed 10 goals in 18 starts with a 7.28 rating. With such consistency, White looks set to be the future for both England and Newcastle.

Ben Whitehead- Although he may have expected to be little more that a fringe first team player as the season began, his form has earned him a regular place on Sunderland’s left wing. Having now made 17 starts for the 14th placed Premiership side, Whitehead has bagged himself 5 goals and a 7.06 rating. Showing an impressive level of consistency for a 19 year-old. This form has earned the iron-willed winger a regular place in the England Under-21 team, where he has continued to enhance his wonderkid reputation with 4 goals in 8 Under-21 caps. As the last remaining conference starlet, Ben may not be at the stadium of light much longer after Everton are rumoured to have scouted the goal-getting winger. And if his form continues, you can bet that many more teams will join the chase for his signature.

Very happy with Quincy.

A near £20 million move to the Premiership, good goal per game ratio for an average Bolton side, and Bolton are pushing for Europe - hope that went well.

Oh, and a goal on his international debut at the World Cup Finals icon_cool.gif

Just need to establish himself in the dutch squad, and then if Bolton don't make Europe it will only be a matter of time 'till a bigger club swoops in.

I'm with EvilDave too, if possible could we see player screenshots, if its not too much trouble.

Yeah, definitely including screenshots in the next update. I did intend to do them with the last end of season update, but after uploading I realised I had cocked them all up! And it was late, so I gave up trying. But I intend to add them for every end of season update from now on.

End of season update 2010/11

Adaminho - The season was set for a classic Old Firm showdown as there was little to separate Rangers and Celtic in the league. And it went down to the last game of the season as Rangers faced Celtic at Celtic park, with Rangers one point ahead. But tragically for Adaminho, he couldn’t repeat his heroics of the past, being ruled out with strained knee ligaments. Rangers felt his absence, as they crashed to a 2-1 defeat with a brace from fellow conference starlet Fredino, to concede the league title. His injury also ruled him out of the subsequent Scottish cup final victory over Celtic. But Adaminho’s form was a big part of making the title race so close. In 30 appearances the Englishman scored 13 times with a 6.97 rating. While he has become more settled of late, Adaminho may still be tempted by a big move as he states he has no immediate plans for the future.

Jose Manuel Arevalo - Despite a season long desire to move to a bigger club, Jose has stuck out the French second division campaign with Toulouse. Although the club had few big performers this term, the side managed to finish 3rd and win promotion. And Jose was one of the key parts of their promotion success with 35 starts, 3 goals and a 6.80 rating. However, the centre-back won’t be keen to be part of next season’s likely relegation struggle. And with Athletico Madrid reported to be interested, a big move could be on the cards. The Andorran has also sealed his 27th international cap this year, although the country couldn’t buy a win!

Mike Bird - It has been another season of disappointment in the Man City reserves for Bird this year. Although it hasn’t been without it’s moments. Given 5 first team appearances, Mike has showed good potential bagging 3 goals with a 7.00 rating. But he will still be disappointed to not be given a more regular first team place, especially after reserve team form which saw him net 14 in 13 starts. And also international form for the Portuguese Under-21 side, where he has really made a name for himself after winning his 27th cap, with 17 goals. But with Under-21 time running out for the 21 year-old, it is looking increasingly likely that Bird will want away from The City of Manchester stadium when the transfer window opens to inprove his international prospects. Although only Heerenveen have declared an interest so far, more clubs will surely look to snap up the towering striker.

Bobinho - Following two seasons of loan moves and reserve team football, this campaign has been Bobinho’s time to shine. Given a first team chance by Southgate following the relegation exodus of first team stars, Bobinho stepped up an played a key role in winning the Championship and securing their return to the Premier league. Given 33 starts, the Welsh international hit the net 14 times with a 7.08 rating. This included the opening goal against Arsenal in the 2-1 League cup fourth round defeat. Rated as an important first team player, it will be interesting to see if Bobinho will be given the chance to continue his successful partnership with Samassa up front, or if he falls victim to the inevitable strengthening of the squad. Bobinho has also gone on to win his third international cap for Wales.

Peter Brown - 19 year-old Brown has had an excellent breakthrough this season. Included in the first team as part of a squad rotation system, Brown has made 14 starts for West Ham, making an excellent return of 9 goals with a 7.20 rating. Form which has led to him being touted as a wonderkid! As the Hammers finished 8th in the Premiership, it looks like they could be set to improve for next season as Brown will most likely partner Dean Ashton up front. The England Under-21 who won his third cap with 1 goal, watched from the bench as his side lost 1-0 in the UEFA Cup final. And he will hope to be in a position to make the difference in such games in the future.

Adam Clatworthy - Following the mega-money move to Chelsea in the transfer window, few would have expected Adam to make an instant breakthrough. But after scoring a hat-trick on his debut, the explosive striker has gone on to score an astonishing 14 in 20 starts with 4 assists and a 7.30 rating. After winning the Premier league by finishing 3 points clear of Man Utd, Chelsea did the double by winning the FA cup. Clatworthy was a key performer throughout the tournament, going on to open the scoring in the FA Cup final as they eventually ran out 2-0 winners. Chelsea had the chance to do the treble with Clatworthy in the starting eleven as they faced Real Madrid in the Champions league final, but they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat. But for his form in the tournament, Adam was named second in the Champions league best player awards, after Robinho, despite scoring more goals and making just half the appearances. Sensational form by the striker which has been carried over to his international matches where he has scored in the last two of his 14 caps, making a total of 5 goals.

Alfonso de silva Santos - Alfonso has made a steady start to his career at Italian giants Roma. The wonderkid has featured in 18 first team matches, scoring 6 and winning 2 MoM awards with a 6.89 rating as Roma finished second in Serie A, behind AC Milan. Santos is enthusiastic about his future, understandably so playing alongside he likes of Messi, Gago and Van der Vaart. And he will hope to establish himself further by making more first team appearances. At the tender age of just 19, Alfonso has recently won his 31st international cap for Andorra and has taken his goal tally to 4 for his country.

Robert Dillon - Despite being such a young player making a big move to Italy, Dillon has been massively involved in AC Milan’s Serie A victory. Since his move from Bochum he has made 35 starts, mostly on the left wing, scoring 9 goals with 6 assists. Despite his impressive creativity, it may be other aspects of his game which need improvement as he has earned an average rating of just 6.49. But that hasn’t worried manager Mauro Tassotti, who still rates the wonderkid as an important first team player. And it is promising to see a manager who keeps faith in a young prospect like Dillon, even playing him in crucial European matches like the Champions league final.

Fredino - After escaping Scunthorpe to make for Glasgow, Fredino has done excellently at Celtic park. Involved in a titanic struggle with bitter rival Rangers throughout the season, it went down to the wire as the Old firm faced each other with the winner set to take the SPL crown. And it was Fredino who matched what Adaminho achieved a couple of seasons before, when he was the star man in this encounter. Opening the scoring at the start of the second half, Fredino got his second in the 81st minute to make the scoreline 2-1, sealing the victory and the Man of the match award. The Welshman also scored in the first leg of their Champions league game against Arsenal. Internationally, Fredino has won his 13th cap for Wales, getting himself 6 goals in that time.

Frketson - While Barcelona finished third in the Spanish league, 11 points behind winners Real Madrid, the fans had little to celebrate this season. Frketson had a similar experience of his first season at the Nou Camp. Although he managed to get 14 starts and even a league goal, his average rating of 6.50 would have been disappointing. But at just 21 the commanding centre-back still has a lot to learn. His form internationally has been typically impressive though, recently winning his 25th cap for Croatia. Playing alongside Barca teammate Corluka at international level, will undoubtedly be advantageous for Frketson as he tries to establish himself in the Spanish league.

Pablo Gonzalez - It has been a disappointing time for the Mexican since his move from Elche. This season he has failed to make a first team appearance as Celta slumped to bottom of the Spanish league and suffered relegation. While Pablo is still highly rated, even thought of as the new Borgetti in his home nation, it remains to be seen whether another team will be willing to release him from his Celta hell.

Haowan - Even as Portsmouth fell to the bottom of the Premiership, some 10 points adrift of safety, manager Boothroyd refused to give Haowan a chance to add to his 1 goal from 1 sub appearance in the Premier league. Despite some simply awesome reserve team form, where he scored 15 in 16 starts with a 7.50 rating, the Spanish Under-21 international has been simply overlooked at Fratton park. Still rated as a hot prospect by Pompey, Haowan will hope to follow Bobinho’s example and establish himself as the club hopes to regain its Premiership place.

Juan King - Since his £11.5 million move from Sunderland, King has formed a potent partnership with Djibril Cisse for Marseille, which secured them fifth place in the French league and a UEFA Cup place. Given 36 starts, Juan has repaid his manager with 14 goals and a 7.08 rating. Form which won him the player of the month award for May. For Northern Ireland, Juan King has continued to become a national obsession. In his 24 caps he has bagged 13 goals, which includes 5 scored in his last 3 games. Excellent form for the powerful striker, and he will hope to continue to build his reputation on the continent next season.

Quincy Klapatross - Despite missing two months of the season with a broken toe, Quincy has done well in his debut season with Bolton. Making 23 starts, the explosive striker has scored 9 times with a 6.96 rating as Bolton finished 10th in the Premiership. Form which despite his recent transfer, has attracted interest from Monaco and Arsenal. Possibly due to a recommendation from his friend and international team mate Robin van Persie. And as Quincy is flattered by the interest shown in him, Bolton may cash in on the striker when the transfer window opens. Klapatross won his second international cap in a friendly against Uruguay, also scoring his second goal for his country.

Callum McCarthy - At just 22, Callum has become accustomed to performing on the big stage. And following his move to Italian giants Inter Milan, his experience would be put to the test. The strong left-back made an instant impression at his new club when he won the goal of the month award for January by hitting a screamer from the edge of the area. McCarthy went on to make 16 starts for Inter this season, scoring 1, creating 3 with a 6.76 rating. Although his form may not appear overly impressive, it was indicative of a lacklustre season for Inter where they finished disappointingly in 8th place. Callum has also won his sixth England cap.

Brendan Petersen - Having spent yet another season at Burnley, despite his wishes to move to a bigger club, Brendan got his first taste of success this season. Finishing in fifth place in League 1, Burnley progressed to the playoff final at Wembley, where they beat Notts county 2-1 to win promotion. Throughout the season, Petersen made 50 starts, conceding 59 goals with 12 clean sheets and a 6.82 rating. While the Aussie keeper may be pacified by the step up to the Championship, he still wants to move to a bigger club. But as of yet, no clubs have declared an interest. It will be interesting to see if Brendan will make a long awaited move when the transfer window re-opens.

Loic Philippens - With a dream move to Manchester United secured, it was up to the Belgian to prove he was worth the investment. And with an impressive start, Loic went on to make 14 starts and 8 sub appearances becoming a regular fixture for the latter part of the season, scoring 7, winning 2 MoM awards and receiving a 7.00 rating. Impressive form from the forward which saw his side finish just short of securing a Premiership title. Loic has also won his 18th Under-21 cap for Belgium, where he has scored 12 goals. And he must surely be considered for a full international cap soon.

Tom van der Fish - The second ex-conference starlet at West Ham has also made an impression this season. Establishing himself as a fringe first-team player by the end of the season, Tom has made 12 starts, scoring 4 and creating 2 with 2 MoM awards and a 7.25 rating. In his appearances he has earned himself a reputation as a natural goalscorer, which has seen him dubbed ‘the new David Healy’. While he could be third choice behind Brown and Ashton next season, Tom will be confident that Roy Keane will give him the opportunity to get some goals.

Arthur White - While Newcastle struggled to match last season’s Premiership winning form, finishing just seventh, White had no trouble picking up where he left off. Making 30 starts this season, the explosive striker netted 15 times with 3 assists, 3 MoM awards and a 7.30 rating. Form which earned him a place in the Premier league dream team. White also made a Wembley appearance for Newcastle as his side made the final of the League cup, only to lose to opponents Arsenal on penalties after the London side has two players sent off. He also won his sixth England cap in the 2-1 defeat to Sweden. After another impressive season for White, some big clubs may come knocking on Newcastle’s door. And with Newcastle producing a poor performance this season, the club may choose to cash in on their highly rated youngster.

Ben Whitehead - Ben has continued to hold on to his first team place for the entirety of the season for Sunderland. Making 28 appearances, the goal-getting winger bagged 7 goals with a 7.04 rating. Form which helped his side reach 11th in the league, despite the sales of Clatworthy and Juan King. Whitehead has also established a place for himself in the England Under-21 side, winning his eleventh cap, in which he has scored 7 goals. But the biggest news for the wonderkid is that his form has attracted the attention of Spanish giants Barcelona. Although they have yet to make a formal bid, it is likely they will look to the winger to boost their disappointing league form. But rated as indispensable to Sunderland, Barca may have to splash the cash to seal Whitehead’s signature.

Thanks. Yeah, your stats are a bit perculiar really. I suppose you're more of a Ronaldo type winger, than a run it to the touchline type. Either that or you're just a selfish git! icon_biggrin.gif
