BP_Doosra
Crazy Ivan looks good although Eccentricity is a bit high for my liking. Interesting to see that all of the keepers have brilliant physical stats except for Stamina? and most are poor mentally with the exception of their chosen stats. AB-forever
Griffiths has started every game so far except one where we let 3 goals in. Hmmm... His attributes look good to me although I would have liked for him to be better off the ball and better at dribbling and crossing. His lack of jumping is also a little alarming but apart from that he's great He hasn't scored yet despite a 20 for Long Shots does he have bad technique? thezogsageordie
January Liverpool (Home) Ivan Griffiths Shaul Frketson Fuller Dale Moss Stig Villa Robaldinho Bull ---------- Bobo Nakano Bozic Horsedick Member 10th Minute Alonso plays in Torres who rounds Fuller and strikes past Ivan. 12th Minute Robaldinho on the right wing passes to Dale who chucks a cross in to Villa who, with the outside of his boot, bends it round the outstretched Pepe Reina. Nice. 62nd Minute FMF's first penalty is taken by the cool cucumber that is Frketson and we're ahead. FULL TIME - 2-1 What can I say? Calm and collected under pressure infront of 60,000 FMFers and they didn't disappoint, I'm not sure if it's the manager or the players, surely both?! We're now level on points and guess who we have next in the League Cup Semi's? Liverpool (Home) Ivan Griffiths Shaul Nakano Webb Dale Cator Stig Villa Robaldinho Bobinho ---------- Bobo Nakano Horsedick Honor Member With both centre halfs that kept Torres and Crouch quiet for most of last game suspended, and Bull played bad last game so Bobinho came into the team. 3rd Minute Corner from Mutu, turned in by Agger, disastrous start for FMF but it's a game of four halves. 8th Minute Stig to Griffiths who passes to Dale whose first time cross is blocked by Riise and falls to Villa who plays in Robaldinho and he doesn't miss from 6 yards. 13rd Minute Villa plays a one-two with Bobinho and from 18 yards out leaves Pepe Reina on his backside. 24th Minute Gerrard passes to Mascherano who passes to Crouch whose shot cruelly hits Webb and trickles past Ivan, how many times has that happened this season? 26th Minute Villa pulling the strings again passes to Bobinho who plays in his adopted brother Robaldinho and the prolific striker bags his 16th of the season. HALF TIME Bobo on for Ivan 79th Minute Bozic on for Villa (For the record I put him on as Villa was 40%ish condition and wanted to sure up the defence) 91st Minute Sam Fuller - tactical genius: Dale crosses for Cator who beats his marker and leaves Pepe Reina wondering if he can get a transfer to the Eff Emm Arena (no he can not!) FULL TIME - 4-2 Well we have still got to go to Anfield and better a defeat by two goals which I think, based on the last two performances, we can do. Great win boys, lets push on for that 4th spot. Tottenham (Away) Bobo Griffiths Shaul Webb Nakano Honor Cator Stig Horsedick Fernie Member ---------- Ivan Frketson Fuller Villa Robaldinho 14th Minute Malbranque's corner is met by the head of Kompany, first blood Spurs. HALF TIME Villa on for Horsedick Robaldinho on for Fernie 54th Minute From hero to zero. Honors cross is blocked by Chimbonda and the ball falls to Stig whose off-target shot hits Kompany and that's 1-1, let's push on boys! 72nd Minute Berbatov to Keane who tucks away from 12 yards.G FULL TIME - 1-2 Shocking stuff, we needed to win and we crumbled. Blackburn (Away) Bobo Bozic Shaul Webb Nakano Honor Moss Stig Horsedick Bull Robaldinho ---------- Ivan Frketson Fuller Villa Member 6th Minute Santa Cruz plays in Rigters who scores past Bobo. 17th Minute Rigters headers to Reid who scores from 15 yards, FMF are all over the shop. 83rd Minute Nakano passes to Stig who advances and then bends a shot from 20 yards, don't blink or you'll miss it! 90th Minute Warnock passes to Santa Cruz who bends his shot into the top corner Liverpool (Away) League Cup Ivan Shaul Griffiths Frketson Fuller Dale Cator Stig Villa Bobinho Robaldinho ---------- Bobo Webb Bozic Horsedick Bull Liverpool start off with a 4-4-2 with farrows on the wingers, so we Shut Up Shop! 24th Minute Finnan's long ball was headered back by Fuller and was collected by Shaul who passed to Villa who passed to Bobinho who passed to Robaldinho who scored past his favourite goalkeeper Reina. 40th Minute Gerrard crossed to Torres who scored from 12 yards. 70th Minute Riise passes to Alonso who beats Ivan at his near post, Liverpool need one more goal. 80th Minute They've got it, Babel plays a through ball to Crouch who rounds Fuller and tucks past Ivan. FULL TIME - 1-3 It's going into extra-time but the momentum is definately with them. 101st Minute Dale on the right passes to Bobinho who instantly plays a through ball to the advancing Villa and blasts past Reina from 18 yards, TEK A BOO SON! Now hold on boys, Liverpool are 4-2-4 this is squeaky bum time. HALF TIME IN EXTRA TIME Webb is on for Stig whos condition isn't good and neither is his performance, hopefully he can shore up the defence as a sweeper type player. 118th Minute Arbeloa crosses, Babel controls and slides the ball past Ivan. FULL TIME AET - 2-4 Both teams won by the same score; it's penalties. Penalties, it's Liverpool to take first Kuyt scores. Robaldinho scores. Mutu scores. Frketson scores. Carragher scores. Shaul scores. Riise scores. Webb misses. Gerrard scores. Heartache for FMF. Sunderland (Home) Twigge Shaul Griffiths Frketson Fuller Dale Crazy Stig Villa Bull Whitehaed --------- Bobo Bozic Nakano Horsedick Member 67th Minute Stig bends a free-kick over the wall and into the top corner from 30 yards, breathtaking. 71st Minute Ogararu passes to Stokes who scores. 79th Minute Villas free-kick from 20 yards is blocked and the ball is cleared to The Stig who, not for the first time this season, is unmarked on the edge of the box, and tuckes the ball away, tastey! 81st Minute Sunderland clear the ball but only to Stig who heads the ball towards Crazy who from 15 yards out, scores on his debut! 84th Minute Drugs test? Shaul's cross is cut out but Bull steals the ball back, swivels and smashes the ball past Gordon. 92nd Minute Stig with the penalty to pile more misery on the Wearsiders and gives him his first FMF hat-trick, first of many to come! FULL TIME - 5-1 When Sunderland scored with 20 minutes to go I was fuming, I went to 'We need a goal' but I didn't hold up much hope as we have been poor lately. I couldn't have been more wrong, we tore them apart! EVERY SINGLE PLAYER APART FROM STIG GOT AN 8. That's the first time in FM08 I have told my team they were Sensational!
Pos Team P PTS 4th L'pool 24 47 5th Spurs 24 44 6th FMF 24 43 7th B'burn 24 37 8th Man C 24 36
Nice gap between us and Blackburn there. Why they were all in the wall only God knows, tactical naivety from Sir Alex Ferguson I'd say, I wouldn't have done it though. 35th Minute Robaldinho to Villa who passes to Bobinho who holds the ball for a second or two and then plays in Robaldinho whose run wasn't tracked although the two strikers were within four Man U defenders and Robaldinho gives Van Der Sar no chance from 15 yards. HALF TIME Griffiths on for Bozic Bobinho on for Whitehaed 53rd Minute Crazy to Stig who passes to Cator who plays the ball to Fernie who scored a controversial goal. Miles on. 91st Minute Route one football, Sanchez played a long ball which bounces over everyone and Harper tucks it away. Luck personified. FULL TIME - 3-2 Great stuff! One 6, seven 7s, five 8s. Portsmouth (Home) Twigge Shaul Bozic Nakano Webb Honor Crazy Stig Cator Whitehaed Fernie --------- Ivan Frketson Griffiths Villa Bobinho 4th Minute Defoe scored with a chip. 35th Minute Stig with a quick free-kick to Honor who passed to Whitehaed who scored a good shot, lol. 42nd Minute Cator passes to Stig who passes to Fernie who passes to Whitehaed who scores, again. 55th Minute Defoe passes to Utaka who scores. 60th Minute Cator's corner is met by the head of Nakano (like last game) and we're ahead. FULL TIME - 3-2 Managed to resist Portsmouth's pressure at the end, good stuff, another step towards that star studded 4th place, I really feel we can do it considering we have none of the old Big Four left! Just noticed we had 20 shots to their 5! Quality! PS Arsenal drew 5-5 with Man City, blowing 3-0 lead after 34 minutes. Bobo Shaul Bozic Nakano Frketson Moss Crazy Stig Cator Whitehaed Fernie --------- Ivan Griffiths Villa Bobinho Fuller HALF TIME Bobinho on for Whitehaed 52nd Minute Cole scores. 56th Minute Ashton scored from a free-kick 20 yards out. 74th Minute Bobinho cuts in from the right and chips the ball up for Fernie to smash home, come on boys, gung-ho. Both ourselves and West Ham are going all out attack. We just had a goal disallowed. 82nd Minute Nakano played a long ball to Crazy who played a one-two with Fernie before smashing the ball past Green, game on, one more goal boys! 89th Minute Corner from Cator is turned in after a bit of scrappy play by Fernie who has been a bit-part player this season but is showing his worth at the moment, legend. 92nd Minute Fuller on for Nakano (inj) FULL TIME - 3-2 Inspirational stuff, almost as good as the Portsmouth game! Never say die, boys! Man City (Home) Bobo Shaul Bozic Nakano Frketson Moss Crazy Stig Cator Whitehaed Fernie --------- Ivan Griffiths Villa Bobinho Fuller 29th Minute Stig passes to Whitehaed who, on the edge of the box, had a defender nowhere near him, turned and placed his shot perfectly. Chelsea are losing 0-1 and had a player sent off! 46th Minute Corner from Cator is whipped in for the second time and somehow scored from the byline! Wow! HALF TIME Fuller on for Nakano Bobinho on for Whitehaed 64th Minute Benjani scores. FULL TIME - 2-1 After they scored they went attacking and we didn't look or feel pressured at all so good stuff, I even had a few chances towards the end of the game!
Pos Team P PTS 1st Chels 36 78 2nd FMF 36 74 3rd Man U 36 72 4th L'pool 36 70 5th Arsen 35 69
Top Performers 1. Frazza Pee
Are you going to sell any players to see how they get on at other clubs?
ssestig
hattrick! 6 goals and 8 assists isn't bad for a 'defensive' midfielder. good to see crazy do well after his 16th birthday. by the way is there a chance that you can host the screenshots on something like photobucket rather than imageshack as i cannot access them on my low-graphics browser. kutgw mate. AB-forever
Griffith's CA went up by 7 I guess Griffith's limited amount of starts in the last two months was due to jadedness, right? He's got 7 caps at the age of 17 I would have liked for him to average a little more than 6.92 but he played a lot and that's what matters 2nd we dumped Liverpool in the UEFA Cup

WBA4LIFE
Corner from Cator is turned in after a bit of scrappy play by Fernie who has been a bit-part player this season but is showing his worth at the moment, legend. I'm happy my player 'JJFernie' is starting to show some potential at the end of this season. I was getting worried after playing about 6 up to march but then i played about 7 in a row. Scored a couple and think i got a couple of assists as well so i'm happy atm . How many goals/assists/appearances have i had this season?
