getting the best from 3 AMCs

Recommended Posts

Hi

Im playing as chelsea and want to play three narrow amcs behind drogba with the fullbacks providing the width. the 3 would most likely be cole, lamps and anelka.

whats the best way to get the best out of all of them? I can get lamps to score approx 20 goals a season but the two either side struggle to have any impact on games, sometimes only making a few passes and no shots or crosses. My experience from FM09 was that ist bestto have them all in support roles to get more invlved in play, but is this the right way to go? should i give the wider two inside forward or attacking midfielder roles?

I've used this formation quite a bit to decent success.

I set the middle one to Trequartista, with the other two as either Attacking Midfielders (Attack) or Inside Forward.

Also, have the side AMC's cross from the Byline to compensate for the inevitable lack of width in the formation. They'll drift wide from deep then, and provide quite well for your striker.
