You defense can be seating deeper, but your midfield or attackers can win the ball high up. your team as whole just drop deeper. Take in consideration too, that you can play high up the pitch but if the opposition is pressing and closing you down, you may find your team defending deeper. PGB_SPURS_FM09 Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 I have a question because it can be really difficult to know what notch to have my DL on. On all previous FMs i probably had it from 8th notch to max th 13th notch... I never went as extreme as 17 for example as it does in the tactics creator. And i had nice success with attacking tactics... would it be a bad thing to have my d-line in these parameters compared to what its set to(17), with (for example, roughly) the 442 set to attacking which is on 17 DL notch.
