TheRealMagpies
Since when does summer last 5 months? Odd facts of living on a spinning oblate spheroid. It's always colder at the top and bottom. It's always warmer around the middle. So in terms of 'length of summers' they are much shorter at the poles and much longer at the equator. samdiatmh
tbh, i don't really mind (and it seems fairly accurate to me) although one occasion where it was unnatural was a gale force wind in Liverpool (anfield) during September (september 1st or something) during the first season and it was a whopping -1C
BenArsenal
Be glad you lot don't live in the tropics. It can swing from 35 degrees to epic flooding thunderstorm (I'm not kidding) in a matter of minutes.
