dafuge
Did he move to a bigger club? Perhaps he was willing to take a pay cut for a more attractive job.
Younging
he moved to sunderland from man utd, the same position as coach too. i understand if he went from youth coach to first team for example, but its really hard to understand why he moved. his faovurite club was man utd too. That's pretty odd then. Perhaps a mention in the bugs forum would be the best idea?
Wee Lad
I believe that being a regular coach or first team coach is more lucrative for computer staff than a youth coach. For example, they always ask for more money for the regular coaching job as opposed to the youth role. Since he is unlikely to move back this season, try offering him a job next season as a coach and I bet he'll come back (unless of course he says he doesn't want to rejoin -- this never made sense to me, but it's hard to get staff back sometimes).
