Sound
The new skin Xenon isn't working for me? Virteous is working and I'm putting it in the same folder but it won't show up on the skins menu on FM10?

Sound
Why would I do that? I go into Skins, I have the Config File as well as Virteous and I just put Xenon beside it and it won't work?
radestock
From your wording it sounded like you'd put xenon in the vitreous folder. Have you unzipped xenon? Have you unticked skin cache and ticked always reload on confirm? Is there an extra folder level you need to get rid of (i.e. xenon/xenon/xenon.xml)? Sound
I have Virteous.2 in the Skisn folder, that is showing up and working fine. Xenon is is also in the same folder as Virteous.2 (Skins folder) but is not working. Skin Cache is unticked etc. Don't understand about Extra Fodler Level though? >>>Skins Folder has a confif File, Virteous.2 and Xenon in it. >>>Inside Xenon there is a PDF Doc., and four other folders, all containing bits and bobs? radestock
By extra folder I mean is your skin something like this: skins/xenon/ then folders with different versions of the skin. Each different version needs to be in the 'root' folder (/skins) and not in their own sub folder. The graphics installation helper goes through all this - it's why it's stickied. Sound
Inside it has xclassic and xwild folders, whom inside have the same folders so perhaps different versions?
radestock
Yeah, you need each version of the skin in the base "/skins" folder. So for any given skin you'd have: /skins/skinname/skinname.xml + other folders such as /panels /screens and /graphics You would NOT have: /skins/ANOTHER FOLDER/skinname/skinname.xml + other folders such as /panels /screens and /graphics Like I said this is all covered in the guide at the top of the forums and I'm guessing the pdf file or some sort of readme document would be included with the skin to tell you where to put stuff.
