MadMenacingMike
Having seen a lot of players moaning about the "winter depression" in the game, where your team will suddenly play a lot worse after christmas, I was pleased to find in my game that this happens to the AI too. Linfield (managed by Jermaine Jenas) was, after 6 years without a trophy, finally ready to take the title from me, or so it seemed. Before New Year, they had won every single game, except one against me which ended in a lucky draw for me. But suddenly, Linfield started having a harder time, going from winning every game to drawing a fair lot and amazingly losing. By the end of the 38 game season, they had lost 2, with 9 ending in a draw and winning 27, only giving them the second place. Ah, nothing like seeing potential winners struggle! StevoRobbo
Well done. Nice to see a post where the OP isnt blinkered to the fact that things also go for them as well as against. It would be good if more people could see the game your way!
Geordieboy52
In one of my old games, Man City got relegated after losing all but 2 drawn games after christmas! Made me really pleased and helps the old adage: money can't buy you everything
