ibuzzi
Many of these have been produced, but just wanted a rough guide on what people thought their best 11 would be.. Or if there is a 'official thread' for this.. can i be guided to it? Cheers x
Liam-Shannon
Cant go wrong with this team IMO Casillas Maicon Vidic Ferdinand Evra Ronaldo Essien Gerrard Messi Villa Torres Or instead of torres due to his injury proneness Drogba/Rooney. Yes i am a Utd fan.
ArranoBeltza
My best XI for my Tottenham team, 2011-2012: --------------Gomes----------- Corluka-Otamendi-Sakho-Bale ------Veloso-------Ozil--------- Lennon------------------Modric ---------Milevskyi---Pato-------- Bench: Ledley King Artur Boruc David Trezeguet Wilson Palacios David Beckham David Bentley Billy Jones

KyleBFC
Casillas maicon lucio vidic cole essien gerrard xavi ronaldo messi villa could be any from drogba/villa/torres/rooney up front though
Ville Valo
In terms of their effectiveness for me, i'd go with something like: GK: Adler DR: Rafael DL: Evra DC: Danny Wilson DC: Nemanja Vidic MC: Sandro MC: Verratti AM: Gourcuff AM: Shelvey AM: Zezinho ST: Rooney
raskashtan
Best players from the start of the game 4-2-3-1 on Scout(does not lie) Adler Maicon Terry Ferdinand Evra Essien Gerrard Messi Kaka Ronaldo Villa
PitchPosh
GK: Adler DR: Maicon DL: A. Cole DC: Terry DC: Chiellini MC: Essien MC: Sneijder AML: Robinho AMR: Messi ST: Aguero ST: Dzeko
joe__the__man
Robinho ahead of Ronaldo, Ribery and Modric? Also I'm surprised that everyone rates Adler as the best in the world tbh. At the start of the game I'd have thought he'd be about 10th or so.
roo-naldo
Oh, and mine would be: Casillas Maicon Ferdinand Chiellini A.Cole Essien Xavi Messi Kaka Ronaldo Ibrahimovic Pretty good and close to what I'd pick tbh. Swap Cole for Evra, Maicon potentially for Alves and Chiellini for Terry/Vidic for me. If I went for 4-4-2 though, I'd swap Kaka and Ibra for Rooney and Villa. For me, the midfield is too attacking as it is to warrant putting Alves in for Maicon. Evra and Cole are so similar though, it really makes no difference. For 442 I'd do the same as you except for I'd keep Big Zlatan instead of Rooney. Love the guy on FM
jdogg
hmm casillas daniel alves....walter samuel....gerard pique....ashley cole (way over evra) essien...mascherano messi...iniesta (way over kaka)...ronaldo drogba I think drogba because he can control games like no other striker he doesnt need chances to be given to him he makes his own and only is a tiny bit behind finishing than the like os villa and torres, they cant dictate a game. joe__the__man
Who are the CBs better than him? Samuel and Pique definitely aren't two of them. I'd say Vidic, Terry, Chiellini are the only ones in the same league as him. Possibly Mexes or Fazio as well.
boomheadshot45
I think you are underestimating Samuel. My CB partnership is a stopper-cover one. I know there are better CBs than Lucio but his he's perfect for cover and he can bring the ball up to midfield. So... GK: Casillas DR: Maicon CB: Lucio (cover) CB: Vidic/Terry/Chiellini DL: Cole or for a younger option Lahm MC: Essien MC: Xavi AML: C.Ronaldo AMR: Messi ST: Ibra ST: Villa
jdogg
samuel (keep aggresiveness in check ) terry, vidic defo, chiellini, lucio, pique if quite not now then definately soon only getting better. Mexes is good but inconsistent, and honestly cant judge fazio.
joe__the__man
Hmm. Well perhaps I am underrating Samuel a bit, but I think he's underrating Ferdinand. Lucio wouldn't make a great cover defender imo. His mentals are too poor, particularly worrying would be anticipation.

His mentals are too poor, particularly worrying would be anticipation. Poor anticipation can be made up with great pace, something he has. If he makes a mistake that leads to composure or anticipation he can catch up. And the stopper CBs I chose all have great mental stats so it should work out. joe__the__man
Well it can't necessarily be made up with pace though. If a striker like Nilmar gets even half a yard on you as a centre back, you're gonna lose the foot race. Also loving the reason for astrial's edit not the squad though... whitehead.10
My Real Madrid squad - 3rd season was world class - Only lost 1 game to Man Utd - due to a Three key players out. whitehead.10
I didn't pick Casilias; he was in my squad worth 37.5m; High attributes where increasing and my new GK said he was his Idol - so let him tutor; and so far he has conceded 17 goals in 2.5 seasons
Grimble
You started Gomes over Boruc? That's a little surprising to say the least. Great team otherwise. I start Joe Hart over Boruc, but Joe has been great for me over the last 2 years and Boruc on a free is a great understudy. That said, I think they'll both find themselves behind Lung Jr when he comes back from loan for next season. My (maybe slightly bias) 11: NB picked on players that (largely) have a few years left in them! Akinfeev Maicon Puyol Terry Cole Fabregas Iniesta Ronaldo Jovetic Cardozo Villa

Love the guy on FM I see your point, I just prefer Alves myself. Can never be too attacking, can you? Evra and Cole are similar, but I'm a Man United fan and Cashley is an idiot for me, so Evra gets the nod And Ibra is very good in my Barca save, but I prefer a DLF Support alongside a Poacher, hence my choice of Rooney. Frog19021996
I play a defensive full back in left-back position, so that's why Chiellini is in there.
