Duaring mutch I recive following tactical feedback about some of my players: "player is used to play at lower tempo than asked today". Which skills shoud they obtain to solve the problem? phnompenhandy Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 To answer your question, high tempo requires stamina and the ability to think quickly - decisions, for example. However, if the team as a whole are fine and one player isn't up to pace, it means he hasn't gelled yet. I'd be inclined to leave him and give him time to adjust to how the team plays. This normally happens with a new player who has just been signed by the club. After a month or two he will have settled in and become accustomed to his new team.
