Ian2oo9
11 games in and they are already 13 points ahead of 4th placed United. There's only so long I can keep up with this
Campbells
Your only 4 points behind, and arsenal only 6, how often is it a 4 horse race anyway?

Tomer
2 wins against City and you're golden.
glamdring
City did similarly many seasons onto my FM09 save. They started with 13 straight wins and when my Whitley Bay team surprisingly beat them around about Easter we were only the second team to do so all season. SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted March 1, 2010 SI Staff Share Posted March 1, 2010 Nearly always a team have a bad spell during a season, an injury to a key player or just weather that prevents their preferred style of play at a few away matches might see them stumble ... and once their confidence goes, just make sure you're close enough to take advantage
thebigman1985
man city are a bit overrated in the game i feel
glamdring
Well, that screenshot was from 2013 so the game has to try to get the right level of a team for the years to come, which is exceptionally difficult I would imagine in the current ridiculous climate of football, with clubs getting rich owners, splashing the cash and then "Oh dear, our owner isn't quite so rich after all". Looks like Man City owners really do intend to splash the cash untilk they win stuff though so they may well be that dominant in real life in 3 years' time too. charlo116
one season chelsea went unbeaten in the epl until the last game when they lost to man city but by then they had already won the title. Sometimes there is little you can do but do your best and look forward to next season.
Bielsista
Once I started with Man City too, and Chelsea, after like 15 games had won ALL OF THEM and had ZERO goals against!!!
Seabeast
Thats nothing, on one of my few 10.2 saves Chelsea finished with 33 wins, 4 draws and one defeat....and they only conceded 9 league goals, 3 of them scored by my team!

arcaliea
Arsenal did better than that in 07-08 and still didn't win the league, it happens. The AI's pretty good at throwing away league leads.
