Is this really a story? Your match reports seem to be the match reports from FM. Sorry, I like Belgium though.

The majority of the stories on this forum used to be in this format, some of the best IMO. Mark Heath's "Bees Knees," Faramir's stories (except the background and periodic off-pitch updates he does every so often), and others. Admittedly, Kernohg kinda tears through with minimal detail, but he's got me paying attention.

Press announcement

Jean-Francois Gillet has today announced his retirement from football will take effect at the end of May next year. He has also made it clear that he only wishes to be selected for the national team in case of an emergency.

Interview with team manager.

"How do you react to this news re Jean-Francois?"

"Altogether I am surprised. I had no idea that he intended to make his involvement with the national team limited. In closing though I would like to say that his service to me and his country has been much appreciated. His presence in the dressing room will be missed."
