mikeaji
Hi guys, I've been experiencing some problems with my FM game. I downloaded patch 10.3 on release day and everything was going well until a couple of days ago when I started to get the parsing error. I looked up all the threads that dealt with the problem but none of them seemed to work and everytime I tried to open FM, my computer froze and I had to reboot it. My last resort was to uninstall the game then reinstall it which I have done and everything loads properly. My new problem now is that I'm stuck on patch 10.0 and everytime I try to update to the new patch, or any patch whatsoever, it updates to around 100 files then automatically freezes. It comes up with the message "a sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\Program Files(x86)\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\fm.exe" Any help will be greatly appreciated as it would be a shame if I can't play this great game again Thanks

FrazT
You need to close the game before installing the patch.
mikeaji
First time round I chose to install it through the disk mate. It didn't ask me this time round but I suppose it's the same again.
