Files with DBC format

Simple question really.

How do you view the content of these files? What program do you need to use?

OK! I have actually been able to view the content of these type of files in Visual Studio, but I wouldn't have a clue how to interpret what I see in it.

I can't even really describe it and trying to paste a row of the data is not possible.

You need to load the editor, load the database, and then load the dbc file. Save in the uncompressed format - this will give you an xml file which can be edited in Notepad.

Thanks Bladesman, but I don't recall an option to save uncompressed when you select the "save as" option.

It's in the second dropdown menu (Options?). You choose it, and then save.
