That has got to be one of the best games of football I have seen us play" Lee Allen states after todays 2-1 victory over promotion chasing Cambridge. Adam McGurk scores twice for the Harriers in a much needed win, in a bid to make movements towards the play off places. "Cambridge are a well organised and experienced side and I am really happy that we have won today. It goes some way to wiping out the misery we had at their place earlier on in the year. Willock recently released by Port Vale will be looking to resparkle his career with Kidderminster. Calum Willock immediately making an impression scoring within 4 minutes of his debut. Leading scorer James Constable scoring just before half time. Jonathan Hogg scores Harriers' third with Tony Gray netting Southports consolation goal. Kidderminster into the 3rd round and earn themselves £5,000 winnings. James Constable nets the games only goal on 37 minutes to give a glimmer of hope of Harriers making the play off places. York had Stuart Elliott sent off on 53 minutes to further add to their miserable afternoon. "we are playing good football at the moment and have managed to play well against fancied teams, we are in with a faint chance of pushing for the play offs. Bids of around £400,000 have been tabled for the Aston Villa youngster who made 9 appearances for Harriers at the beginning of the season. Andy Ferrel signs a new 1 year contract worth £30,000. Ferrel with 5 goals and 5 assists in 31 appearances. Whitehead and Christie have been asked to be removed from the transfer list possibly due to the change of form. Bevan is fined a further 2 weeks wages as he fails to arrive for training again. Fine issued and accepted without comment. Young Harriers keeper Coleman is allowed to joing Risca & Gelli on loan. Harriers winning 2-0 in a result that sees Droylsden failing to win a game at 16 attempts a new club record. Newcomer Willock adding to his goal scoring tally and McGurk netting the second. Chelsea have a game in hand over the leaders. Aston Villa, Fulham and Derby occupy the relegation spaces but Portsmouth, Sunderland and Newcastle are not clear of the drop zone. Championship With 16 games remaining Watford lead the way 2 points clear of 2nd place Preston. West Brom, Sheff Wednesday, Charlton and Scunthorpe are in the play off frame. Blackpool are now 3 points adrift at the foot of the table with Barnsley and Colchester in the drop zone. Cardiff are now involved in the relegation battle. League 1 Oldham 6 points clear with a game in hand over the chasing pack which includes Port Vale, Hartlepool, Huddersfield, Nottm Forest and Luton. Yeovil are 13 points from safety with Cheltenham and Doncaseter also looking like League 2 teams next season. League 2 Bradford are 11 points clear from MK Dons with Rotherham, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield close bu. The bottom 2 of Dagenham and Redbridge and Rochdale look like they are already exiting the Football League. Scotland and Wales Rangers are 2 points clear of Celtic and Llaelli are 4 points clear of 2nd place Welshpool. TNS and Rhyl are 4th and 5th respectively. TRANSFER NEWS Liverpool sign Torino's Alessandra Rosina for 13.5 million and Newcastle splash 10.25 million for Auxerre' Kahlenberg in an attempt to move from the drop zone. West Brom spend the most in the domestic market bringing Sunderland's Nosworthy to the Hawthorns for 3.6 million. Out of interest Stephen O'Halloran completes his move for £275,000 to Wigan. Constable nets 2 goals, Willock continues to add to his tally and Munday scores his firt goal for the Harriers. Whitehead and Ferrell are brought on at half time and a rare appearance 10 minutes from the end for Scott Bevan. Kidderminster given £6,000 for the win.
