Thandui
If your fav team is Barcelona it will get boring as they are already brilliant and you have all the money you need, try being someone from a lower division, or since you like the Spanish league try being Athletic (the team where you can only buy basque players)
Chalky1989
I normally do, as you're always dealing with the same players, it gets obvious and predictable when certain clubs go for certain players every time. This is why I downloaded a save game in 2020, and played it from there, far more interesting.

Vangelis21
yes but what is the feeling of achievement with a team that can easily get the CL in 1-2 years?
phd_angel
I know what you mean. I play in Spain a lot but the monopoly of Real Madrid makes the game a bit boring. You may want to try a league with more even contenders... In Brazil you have the Flamengo/Sao Paulo thing, two leagues per year (the State- and the National- level championships) plus Liberatadores. And the fact that the country exports its best (and even average) players is another interesting feature to confront.
lutontown1991
yes but what is the feeling of achievement with a team that can easily get the CL in 1-2 years? Becoming Champions of Spain with Valencia would be seen as a big achievment for some FM players.

SeanNUFC
This is why i create multiple team games, gets my motivation back as i like to see the different teams challenge for the title or whatever+ its fun seeing where the different teams develop to. Works for me anyhow.

jayahr
You could maybe check out the following threads from the careers and LLM forums. They are good reads anyway and maybe they can give you a good inspiration to try the same or something similar (or something completely different ). I for myself get really inclined to give myself a nice new challenge wehen I read those. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=165137 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=186330 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=112960 http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=179477 Alternatively you could try using one of the alternate reality editing files from the editors' forum. fmphil
Im in my second season with ajax and really enjoying it. Won their league and cup in first season but did rubbish in euro cup. Got knocked out in group stage with 10 points which was bad but im in champions league and really enjoying it. Finding it hard but my expectation was to get in to group stage and i was guaranteed that anyway. hoping to finish 3rd at worst so i can go back in to euopa cup. Ryknow
I find it addicting when I start finding new youth and I want to see them develop, so that keeps me going for many seasons. Would be good to do with your team, Barca, try and keep the homegrown theme going with plenty of Spanish players.
ArsenalFan7
It's addictive for me only because I'm thrilled at the thought of developing my regens into world beaters and getting rid of all those boring original players
hhhonlyfan
im personally addicted to my fleetwood town save. Started out first with Bristol City but got boring after a sugardaddy takeover. My fleetwoon town im slowly building and have landed my first prem title after only 3 years in the prem. My chairman is interferring and selling some good players but i got amazing youth talent coming through so should be ok. good challenge in the depths of lower leagues
