I've been having problems scoring more than 2 goals consistently until i switched to your tactic. I've been using your version 1.1 tactic for god knows how long, tried others but kinda still went back to it.

Now, other than the occasion silly AI and superkeeper and hitting the post countless times on low scoring draws, i've been getting 3 to 4 goals much more often. Still letting in the occassion goal on home games and sometimes let in 2 goals in tough away games. Currently goals scored is 33 and goals allowed is 5 after playing twelve games.

Now i dont know what to do with my full backs and wingers

Ahhh my good old V1 tactic,i actually made that with the demo,it was my fist ever tactic using the wizard. Im glad my new effort is working for you.

As for your Wingers and Full Backs you will have to either sell them or re train them in new positions.You will soon have a squad built for this system.

Nobodys in particular,i just use my own and try and keep them varied. If i was going to use someone elses i would use WoIfsongs,its by far the best guide out there.

Who you using it with mate ? Theres alot of people having sucess on the other forum he's posted it on. I'm currently trying it out with Sunderland and are very pleased with it so far.

Considering it only uses 3 at the back it seems very solid

I'm 5th on december 12th . Some new signings still need to settle in the area so hopefully will turn into a good season.

Lost 4 games , 3 of them being 1-0 when my strikers kept blasting it at the keeper. I've beat Man city , Chelsea , Tottenham deservedly as well.

I try and play a left footer on the left and right footer on the right. The central one of the three should have good concentration and anticipation if possible as he will be covering. Also try and make the right sided CB have good heading ability as he is your main attacking threat at corners.

Managed to pick up Diaby, Onouha and Jenas in the summer to add a bit of prem experience but apart from that it is still my championship team. As the OP i don't use OI's, and i usually use my assistant for team talks so i'm very impressed. I was hoping for mid table but Europe is now a possibility! I'll see if i can post some screenshots tonight.

Im also doing well in my first season back in the Premier,havent really bought anyone as you get very little money at Boro but ive on only lost twice in my opening 15 games and already beaten Liverpool and got away draws at Chelsea and Man Utd.

I sold all my wingers and fullbacks *buhuhu I miss Evra* and got around 120 mil. € in the bank which I decided to reinvest into Dzeko and Agüero so my front 3 are Dzeko -- Agüero -- Rooney with Gourcuff behind them so it's pretty much a squad that should have no problems to take over where the old squad left of.

The tactic is still pretty solid overall,its hard to cover all bases,in fact i would say its impossible. When i made this i wanted a tactic that was tight at the back and potent up front,so far im happy with the result but you cant win them all and even if you could it would be pretty boring and unrealistic wouldn't it.

Thanks JP for the tactics. i've tested your tactic with Juventus. Starting as sunday league footballer reputation (this is kind of tough actually). after 15 games (12W 2D 1L) scoring 28 goals and conceded 7 goals. only one time did not score and we lose. Thanks again

Finished my first season back in the Premier.Went very well when you look at the squad i had and managed to finish 5th. Got to the semi's of the Carling cup again and was again very unlucky against Chelsea.

Great tactic attacking wise but the 3 CBs really struggle against wide players and give away easy goals, mostly from crosses to the far post. Also, it's a freaking nightmare to defend a narrow lead against 4-2-4 late in the game. There must be a way to tighten the shaky defense, any thoughts?

The defence isnt shaky though. At Arsenal i conceded 16 goals all season and had 8 consecutive clean sheets,3rd season at boro now and i have the 3rd best defence in the league after 30 games. All i can suggest is buy some better CBs.

My CBs are Mexes, Chiellini, Fazio, Carragher, Kjaer and Agger so it doesn't get any better than that.

How is the defense not shaky? With Boro you conceded 36 goals in 38 games so basically you conceded a goal every game. Luckily enough the crossing/heading is terrible in this version so the AI doesn't really exploit this weakness to the fullest but it is a weakness after all. The CBs get isolated and outnumbered out wide, the 2 CMs help a little but that's nowhere near enough cover to be considered anywhere near solid, the defense often leaves a player completely unmarked on the far post who gets a free attempt on goal because there just aren't enough bodies to cover the 2 posts properly.

I believe the shape of the tactic doesn't allow for any true defensive stability unless you have a world-class back line who are well gelled in and that's just not good enough for me so I'll be reverting to the back line of 4.

To be fair though it was my first season in the premier at Boro and my 3 defenders are Wheater,Riggott and Grounds with Rhys Williams as DM so conceding 36 goals in 38 games wasnt that bad.

Somebody earier in the thread tested with Holland in the World Cup,he won the World cup conceding just 1 goal all Tournement.

You obviously dont like this tactic so dont use it,its ok.

I dont feel i have anything left to prove reguarding this tactic,ive shown it works with both Big and Average teams.

Going to try and make a wingers tactic that works on patch 10.3 now.

Update on my Boro game just half way through second season, so first season back in Prem. As you can see i am the top scorers in the league, conceded a few more than those teams around me but very happy with 3rd place at the min, and i'm also in league cup semis. As you can see i am playing Diaby as my central striker but he is an AMC. Due to injuries i had to play him there and he proved to be very effective in that role, but i do sometimes drop him back to AMC and play Fleck up front. Haven't had chance to play much this last week but will update more at the end of this season, i'm really hoping for a top 4 finish now but my squad isn't very big so i'm not sure how we'll cope in the second half of the season.

Finished my 1st season as Spurs, finished 3rd & won both the F.A Cup & League Cup - amazing season! If it hadn't been for a ridiculous injury patch half way through I may of grabbed 1st.

Started my 2nd season and re-jigged my team a bit, and I'm 13 games in and I'm sitting top by 2 points... rolling along nicely.

I've qualified from my group in the champions league so things are taking shape.

This is a spin off from the V3 total Football but with some improvements.

As well as some improvements to the overall tactic i have now made an away tactic to go with it. Home tactic for home games and away tactic for away game. Simple

TESTING

I tested with Heerenveen for a season then moved to a struggling Fiorentina midway through the 2nd season.

At Heerenveen i won the Dutch League,Dutch Cup and Europa League.

In half a season at a mid table Fiorentina i won the Italian cup,Europa League and get them to a 2nd place finish in the league.

Well im not going to say you will win the league but im pretty sure you would finish a lot higher than 19th. Follow my buying guide and you should be challenging within 2-3 seasons.
