beckham2323
Introduction Queen's Park Football Club is a famous football team based in Glasgow, Scotland , and is the oldest association football club in Scotland, founded in 1867, currently playing in the Scottish Second Division. The club is steeped with much history and tradition, and remains the only amateur club in the Scottish League. The club's home is one of 29 UEFA five-star stadia, the all-seated Hampden Park in south east Glasgow, which is also the home of the Scottish national team. Queen's Park have won the Scottish Cup the third most amount of times, behind Rangers and Celtic. The club's amateur status is reflected by their motto, 'Ludens causa ludere' - 'the game for the game's sake.' Being an amateur side, you can only offer part time amateur contracts to your players, meaning at the end of the season your players can sign with any club they want, you have NO wage budget, NO transfer budget, oh and the club has a loan debt of 12 millions. Still you get top training facilities, average youth facilities and Hampden Park which hopefully will help you attract some decent players. The Aim Simple.Win the Champions League!!! RULES Load a game with the Scottish leagues only, with the Third Division selected, any kind of database (small, medium, large), and the attribute masking and the transfer boxes ticked. No additional players from any nation should be loaded . No external utilities such as FMScout should be used and the database should be the 8.0.2 update. Take over Queen's Park and get going!!! PoopyPants
Should be quite hard until you obtain pro status. From then... It's a walk in the park
bermybhoy
I'm prepared to be proved wrong but isn't the game hard coded so that Queen's Park's amateur status never changes? If so the challange is literally impossible...best of luck with it though.

minisav
Nothing like some constructive criticism or a reason for not doing it eh?! I'm not doing it because I don't play FM much anymore so I wouldn't get into it.

It's a historical thing - they were the dominant force in Scottish football for it's first few years in a way you can't exaggerate - they won 10 of the early Scottish Cups (last in 1893), supplied almost the entire Scotland team for early internationals, more or less were themselves the SFA to begin with (hence the connection with Hampden), heck, they didn't even concede a goal for their first few years. The point is, when professionalism was coming in, they rejected it in favour of the corinthian spirit and have of course suffered for it, having quickly been overtaken by Celtic and Rangers. Playing for them is still a fair privelage, and they are obviously better than many of the semi-pro teams at the same level. After all this time it's unthinkable that they'd change their minds. All that said, I ahve NO IDEA if it is hard coded of not
