Okay, i've created a tactic. Its kinda of a English flat back four version of Louis Van Gaal'a Ajax formation of the early to mid 90s. It looks pretty and has the positions in I like. When my team is attacking in full flow the're a joy to behold. I have two out and out wingers (AMR and AML), an AMC (trequarista), a box to box MC and a DMC thats either holding or a deep lying playmaker. The problem is the ST. I currently have him set as target man but this is main performance i'm not satisfied with.

What advicde on how to set this sole striker position and what attributes to look out for. I imagine its a pretty unselfish position.

Cheers.

Try a Deep-Lying Forward maybe? The Treq, B2B and Wingers and feed off of him if done right.

This. Since he will look to get others into the attack.

You should also consider setting you ST as a trequartista. His mentality will be lower and thus he will be closer to the midfield. Also, he will constantly be looking for space and will pull wide and maybe even deep on a regular basis.
