Shaun12011975
I have currently got a striker on loan at my Southampton side, has been incredible for me so far, 10 goal in 8 games however, in my last match he picked up a hip injury now needing the player with no choice but to see a specialist. My physio has recommended that i terminate his loan contract so he can seek medical advice at his own club as he is out for anything up to 5 months. My question is.....if i decide not to terminate his loan will he be dealt with by my own staff or am i just better taking the advice and letting him go back? danpegg
How far into the season is it? For a loan player to get sidelined for 5 months, I would probably think about sending him back as his parent club probably has better staff to treat him.
Shaun12011975
Im only a month into the season, and he is on a season long loan deal. You have pretty much backed up what i was thinking regarding his parent club and better staff so looks like im in the market for a replacement
Da Beezer
Is a better physio able to reduce the healing time though? I thought a better physio just was able to better pinpoint the exact date when the injury is over?
TPH
A loan, being short or long, is only a short term solution anyway - therefore if he is out for 5 months you would be better off sending him back (and not pay his wages if you are paying a contribution) and getting a replacement loan.
