Bolson
I'm playing against Preston atm, and I've scored after 3 minutes. And 2 minutes later, non-injured player of Preston is being replaced! And he hadn't even made a goal forcing mistake! I think this is one of the moments to say what the fudge?
Brian Shanahan
Worse is when they replace a goalie with an outfield player, when a) the goalie is playing well, b) he's not injured and c0 the sub goalie (who's almost as good) is on the bench. I had a thread about it before Chriastmas.
stevio11
Why is it strange, the Special one used to do it at Chelsea, tactical change he called it
Bolson
I have to admit that this was the first time I've seen it in football, not just FM. What's even more funny is that Preston had scored right after the player was brought in, but he didn't participate in the action. All in all he (the sub) sucked throughout the game and made my 5-2 win even more easier.
Omnipherous
I've seen teams do this quite often early on in games, not quite that early, but usually after losing 1 or 2 goals in the opening 10 mins. It's usually accompanied by a fairly substantial formation change, hence the substitution.
