Bosson
I've been thinking of an interesting idea for an experiment/database. What if there was a universal wage cap for every league, a maximum transfer spend cap and equally distributed prize money and TV money in all competitions? 4 questions spring to mind: a. Is it possible to do this within the confines of the editor? b. What would the ramifications be for the game world after a few seasons? c. Do you think it would be fun to play? d. Could I get some help on this idea (if it is indeed viable)?
jod123
It is possible (not sure about maximum transfer spend) but you would have to recreate every league and put a wage cap and the same tv and prize money in each.
Bosson
Gah, that sounds like a right fanny on does that. If anyone would like to help me, it could be done though, just do the top leagues (Prem, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga) and the rich ones (Russia?) and just run those. I reckon it would be interesting to see who might dominate after 10-20 years, whether top players would go to big reputation clubs or they would start to spread out. Australian Stig
Sounds like a cool idea, and definitely not unrealistic in my opinion - won't happen for a while, but depending how global finances are going it COULD happen!
