Hey amster, first of all I want to say thank you for such a great tool icon_smile.gif

Personally I think MiniSE is one of the best tools ever made for FM2008.

Now I want to know if you can add a few searchs criterias in the search panel. For example, it would be great to add a team/nationatlity search togehter with the CA/PA.

- at 1pm and 6pm put the oven on, and put choice of meal inside oven

- provide free porn

It doesnt work for me either, I just updated to 8.01 and thought I would give this tool a try

however it loads up and i click load, its says load succesful, yet no matter what i put in the search parameters it finds nothing??

i have latest .net framework too

any ideas?

BlueWolf: maybe your search simple doesn´t have any results...Do you use Windows XP ? Because I think this tool has problems under Windows Vista.

Personally I use it all the time and works great for me. I have installed latest official 8.0.1 patch, and I simply set the search parameters and then come the results icon_smile.gif

No problems under Vista with me.

Go back and check you are doing the basics correctly i.e. making sure a saved game is loaded in FM before scouting.

Steps to scouting heaven

1. Load FM.

2. Load saved game.

3. Start MiniSE.

4. Press LOAD on MiniSE.

5. Search away...

Hi folks, looks like a great tool, but i can't get it working.

Looking through the previous posts, it seems like others are having the same problem, it loads, but the figures all remain at zero, when searching, it just continues searching forever without returning any results.

Earlier messages make it sound like the game is not patched, but i know i have patched mine, as i couldn't get past 5th december 2009 (i think!)

My game version is 8.0.1 113229

If this is not the correct version, how do I patch it to the right one? I had a tough enough time finding the last patch!

i explained earlier on in this thread that i was having problems with this tool and it has all been sorted now, somehow the new patch got deleted from my computer therefore fm scout would not function properly,

i wanted to let people know that this was no fault of Amsters and i dont want to discourage peeople from using this excellent program!!

hi there, i have a sort of a bug for you to look at icon_smile.gif

all players that are regens do not appear on the shortlist on the game

what i mean is :

if i filter players and then save the shortlist

when i later load it on the game it's empty

this happens on late saves like 2016

on my new save it works ok so i assume it's regens

Did you redownload Mini recently? It's a known bug of the first 1.3. As for now i have no feedback it's broken, it should work with the latest Mini. Tell me if it doesn't.

Great work amster... this seems as if it will soon supercede Genie's efforts. I did have an idea though, regarding the interface (and program) itself.

Would it be possible to integrate your program into the game itself? I thought that perhaps a new screen could be quite simply created for searching with your scouting tool instead of the inbuilt search function. Couldn't this just be added as a menu item on the main panel that simply links to the enhanced search function?

Too much caffeine (ahem) but I think it makes sense.

it would be nice if you can add a feature to search on determinated leages, ex serach all players from italy c2/a. Is hard to get a good player from upper leages when you have a low leage team, so searching low leagues for future good player that aint gonna give you troubles on singing would be great icon_smile.gif

does anyone ever search for players using the scout, try and search for them on the game using their position and find that they don't exist?

I find this sometimes and it turns out that their positions are wrong on the MiniSE.

E.G I tried to find a 16 year old Adriano DLC/WBL/DM/MLC. It turns out he was actually WBR/DM/MRC.

Not so simple, that would require to hook the game, inject code and lot of skills i don't have. icon_smile.gif Also i am not sure this would be tolerated from SI.

I am not sure to get the point. Isn't it simplest to import a shortlist and ask your assistant manager to filter unrealistic targets? The result would be the same, no? icon_confused.gif

It aint working at my place either. I am 26 and i have worked in it for many years, i guess this proggie doesnt like something here.

I am loading fm, i am loading save game, i am starting minise, i press load, when i search i always get 0 results. I have also tried it with the default data, without modifying anything, but it doesn t give any result.

Just a thought, maybe this wondrous program only works with a certain version of the latest patch, or maybe it doesn't work with people who have a cracked/pirated game?

Also Amster I think the relatively small size of the application is great, because it is easy to put it to one side of the screen if you are running in windowed mode, so any future plans to enlarging the main panel should be discourage :-p, unless of course you made a check box where the program doubles in size for those who do want it larger.

I personally am 100% satisfied when you made Mini able to change the PA and CA, everything after that has been a blessing, I really hope everyone is appreciating all the efforts you are putting into this.

hello, i got this error message when i tried to run the program

"this software requires administrative privileges to run"

i dont understand why this is happening now, it worked fine on my old laptop (XP) but i got this new laptop this morning (vista) and now i get this message.

any information will be appreciated..thanks

so, thius is my problems.

I downloaded the semini.

I start the game and start the semini.

semini show me the ca and pa from a player, but, when i want to search some players, it result 0

i can't search players. What I am doing wrong?

Next question, how can I put the FM08 in window fromat and not full screen, so that I can put the semini next to the window of FM08?

when I tried, the Windows write me: check your resolution. What resolution do I need?

Is it just me or is the searching on this thing painfully slow? I appreciate you providing us with such a useful program but the searches take so long for me. Any suggestions other than disabling a few things in the options panel?(which doesn't seem to have much effect anyway). Thanks.

the search seems to have a strange behaviour, i had installed the beta patches and 8.0.1 patch and search was fast, onw i reinstalled Fm and only installed 8.0.1 and it's veeeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy slow
