The Goal Machine Challenge

Goal Shy to Goal Machine

10.3 Database Only

The idea of this challenge is to take a player who is thought of to be quite goal-shy, and get as many goals as possible out of him in one season in the Premier League. You may choose any player out of the list below, but must use that club that player belongs to. It doesn't matter where you end up in the league, all that matters is how many goals your chosen player scores.

Arsenal: Nicklas Bendtner

Aston Villa: Emile Heskey

Birmingham: Garry O'Connor

Blackburn: Jason Roberts

Bolton: Johan Elmander

Burnley: Steven Thompson

Chelsea: Daniel Sturridge

Everton: Yakubu

Fulham: Bobby Zamora

Hull: Craig Fagan

Liverpool: David N'Gog

Man City: Roque Santa Cruz

Man Utd: Michael Owen

Portsmouth: Nwankwo Kanu

Stoke: Dave Kitson

Sunderland: Benjani

Tottenham: Roman Pavlyuchenko

West Ham: Mido

Wigan: Jason Scotland

Wolves: Chris Iwelumo

Alternatively, you can buy one of the players in the list below. These players can be bought by any Premier League club. While some of these aren't particularly goal-shy players, they'll provide a good challenge.

  • You must use the official 10.3 database
  • You can use any league setup
  • You must use the team your chosen player belongs to. If this is a player from the Special Circumstances list, you must use a Premier League team
  • You MUST use the default team, no signings are allowed (Unless you are using a Special Circumstances player, then he must be the only player signed)
  • You must only play one season
  • Only League goals are counted
  • You must prove how many goals you have scored with a screenshot

The top score for each person used is the only score for that person. The highest number of goals will be determine this. If it is a tie, then the player with fewer appearances will go top. This applies to every player, including the Special Circumstances players. For example, if I got 21 goals with Nicklas Bendtner, and then another player got 23 goals with him, that player would be shown on the leaderboard for Nicklas Bendtner. The person with the top score will be shown next to the players name.

For your end of season screenshots, you must post 3 screenshots, that show:

  • Your player and how many goals he has scored in the league
  • Proof that you have made no transfers (apart from Special Circumstances player)
  • Proof that you have done the challenge in one season

Any questions, just ask... otherwise... Enjoy :D
