how many is important the motivation of players during the match?

Recommended Posts

motivation is very important. for example, if a player is "looking motivated" or something good or better, don't say anything to him, he's fine. Even if his rating is 5.2, he is fully motivated already, nothing you say will motivate him more.

Basically,if he is:

"playing ok" tell him: "you have faith" or "you can make the difference".

"having a poor game" tell him: "You have faith" or "you can make the difference".

"Looking complacent" (use the team speech option to tell him) "Don't get complacent" or "Dont let your game drop" if those aren't available, use" Disappointed"

"looking nervous" tell him: "no pressure" or "you have faith".

At the end of the game, tell anyone over 7.0 ="well done" or "pleased" and anyone who stood out 8+ = fantastic. Don't criticize a player unless you really feel like nothing else is working, honestly there's rarely a need.

If you stick with that your morale will stay high, and players should attempt to adjust their mental failings in the second half.

I take no credit for this, I read Bubbabaytuna dude's guide and it works a dream, very simple.
