bluearmy13
I was playing FM and i had to shut it down, so i saved it and quit the game. No more than 10 minutes later i tried to open the game (installed via Steam). But i got an XML parsing error, saying.... "not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of defult.xml. I have no idea what this means. i know that un-installing and re-installing would more than likely fix this problem, but i am unable to do that as i am away from home with out the disc and product key. Please could someone tell me if they have had this message and if it is fixable. I just struggle to understand how an error could occur in 10 minutes of not playing, after saving and shutting the game down in the correct way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
ChewyFun
Not sure if it would fix it, but you could try verifying your game cache. Just go to your steam games library, right click FM10, click properties. 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache' is in the local files tab. That's fixed quite a few games for me on Steam.
