KrisL
What would be the best way to go about creating a double pivot midfield in fm?
SSJ3-BROLLY
A holding midfielder and the other a deep-lying midfielder.
NakS
You can try as well to mix Defensive Midfielder & Box to Box for the support guy of your double pivot, the other will be as SSJ3-Brolly said a deep lying playmaker mixed with anchor man. Have a look as well at the Player Preferred Moves, get forward whenever possible for the support guy and dictate tempi for the deeper guy. Just a bit of curiosity, with which players do you intend to create a double pivot? Khedira & Schweini ?
KrisL
I may have named this wrong I mean like the 2 midfielders have licence to get forward but at different times so like when 1 goes forward the other holds his position in midfield so like they both can go forward but at different times a bit like man u did but Fletcher got forward more than scholes did. Btw I got the idea from germany at the world cup.
batata169
Not only does the German national team use this system, but also Bayern use it quite well. I would probably use 2 DM's as DM support, or 2 MC's with box-to-box role.
