ImOnFire15
Where can I find this CA and PA and where is it?
Vic Taylor
Outside of the game, you can find them in the Editor. Inside of the game, the only way to view them is with a third party program, such as FMRTE or Genie Scout.
Barkermush
If you load the database up in the Editor, and then type the players name in and then double click on him. And in the drop down menu on the left hand side, click Player Data, and it will show you the players CA & PA.

ImOnFire15
Mine like this My Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > editor data > Metal Guitarist's editor
Barkermush
Yep that is the update your using? The pre-game editor will be where Vic Taylor posted. Once you load the Editor up, click load database and select the 10.3 database. Then once the database as loaded up, click file/load editor data and double click Metal Guitarist's.xml, and then you can check the CA & PA changes that he has made on the database. Barkermush
Do you just want to check the CA/PA of a couple of players? If so then it would be easier to use a 3rd party program like Genie Scout, i have no idea how to use Genie Scout but i am sure there is a read me file that comes with the Genie Scout download, which will tell you how to use it. Or you could just use FMRTE, load the game up and click on the player you want to check, then load FMRTE up and click the 'Current Screen' button at the top of the FMRTE program and it will show you all the information about the player, including CA/PA. Vic Taylor
You can find it in the Editors Hideaway.
TheRealMagpies
The official editor wont help with regens though .... a CA set to 0 gives a random value the PA can can be a positive number for a fixed upper limit, or a value of -1 to -10 which returns a random number over a preset range eg Player 1: 59/109 Player 2: 0/-6 Player 1 has preset values (which put him in the Blue Square to L2 level of ability) Player 2 has random values every time a new savegame is created the PA of -6 will give a range of 90-130 ** the CA will be set between 1 and 130, the players minimum and maximum values. It only lists players and staff available when the DB is loaded into your savegame for the 1st time, after that you need a 3rd party tool. ** not the actual values, but used to demonstrate the process.
