Peter G
Has anyone here ever had a fun game in the BSP or below by giving them lots of money and buying players better than that league? If so, how did it go?
Thrustking56
Tried it, got boring early on. Did it twice once with Worc which was great for a bit but then got dull. I also tried it in the Prem I removed all the players and then bought in my side, that lasted slightly longer but still was dull. To me its like too much of a good thing. gonzovision20
Why not just build the club up properly?
Peter G
Why not just build the club up properly? Because I'm bored of the game now and fancy doing something different. I'm only going to give them money and leave everything else the same.

BroxBorough
I updated my database and gave Crawley (BSP) a money man. I didn't do it for fun though, as they actually do have a money man and have spent something like £600k this summer. I started a season with Crawley, tried to keep things as realistic as possible but ended up getting bored, was way, way too easy, didn't come close to matching my Rushden season which was done on a limited budget. Trents
Each to thier own. Plenty of different challenging senarios in this game. Personally I'd enjoy going the other way more. Have no cash(and/or a big debt) and try to succeed from that.
Bosson
Why don't you go all out and give every team in the league a Saudi oil baron? Could be interesting, or crap, only one way to find out.

While we are at it Place a transfer embargo on all the teams and watch/play.

I like this idea. Much better than giving one team loads of money and easily winning the league with them IMO
mg539
If this is what you fancy then perhaps try RB Leipzig - there's a thread in the GPTG forum. IRL they've been backed by Red Bull, meaning money to spend galore. Think you have to download a file though: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/214281-FM-10-RasenBallsport-Leipzig-Lower-League-Millions
gazzamark
I've had decent amounts of cash in lower leagues after getting Arsenal away in 3rd round of FA Cup, and its made no difference as its impossible to spend as good players still reject you. Chalky1989
Nah, don't like doing that. Though before I've been playing games, then used FMRTe to give a random small team or two loads of money to see what they do with it. Usually it doesn't help, they don't spend it right! Shame they can't use the money well 3 seasons on their still in BSN
wbafanlee85
I started a game unemployed and got the alfreton job a week after they were taken over by a tycoon. I won promotions all the way to the premier league and finished fourth in my second premier season and then the tycoon withdrew all his money. A really enjoyable game that got better once the tycoon left.

That'll make the whole league system more dynamatic, no? ....or just download a world club super league or something...
