Made Of Stone
Have you ever thought of maybe implementing Leagues such as Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man into this file? I only say that as I am currently working on a Channel Islands update myself and would have any info you would need for such league; plus they all actually fall under the jurisdiction of the FA and are ranked at level 7 in our football pyramid, so indeed could produce some decent standard players etc. Obviously I know you have loads of work on with this as it is, but just an idea
Jorgen
If it is an English league, it should be in it, I think.
Made Of Stone
If it is an English league, it should be in it, I think. Well effectively the Isle of Man and both Channel Islands are separate 'countries' being British crown dependencies, but they all fall under the jurisdiction of the Fa and work in the same way that county FA's for example Wiltshire would work. Pretty sure I read somewhere that the leagues are rated at level 7 in our own structure, so a decent standard.

m1234566778
And fwiw, I think it shouldn't include Channel Islands etc.
metal_guitarist
Is it not possible to do 2 files that can be run in unison, one with the 'normal' English league structure and the other with the CI stuff on so the user has a choice as to whether they want to include it? Jorgen
I am looking forward to it No Metal its not Why not? If you recreate the entire English leagues, without adding the Channel Islands and then save it. Then after that just reload it and work from that file, and include the Channel Islands league and save it again under another name. If you make a league with 2 subdivisions, you can edit it to have 4 subdivisions. Am I right? So why is the above not possible?

Mol2
Since you're releasing a first version a week after the game is released, can I presume that Editor Files for FM10 are compatible with FM11?

Made Of Stone
We don't know for sure yet but we are guessing its more than likely. Sadly it looks like it won't be the case. This was taken from another thread... No you cant move fm10 data files to FM11
Super Bladesman
I've not seen that announced anywhere. It would seem odd - things like the media/journalist packs I did for FM09 were compatible (with some minor tweaks) with FM10.

Boroboy100
Release is still on track for the 12th Nov, but as the game is not released in North America until 9th Nov, we may have to look at knocking back the date by a few days, just to make sure everything is as upto date as we can possibly get it....and obviously to check for any bugs etc.

Egon
I look forward to this. I enjoyed rectifying our failure to get promoted by going up on FM10, and it's nice to feel that my research has some relevance to someone.
Super Bladesman
I'll have a look at what I have on my home PC and forward on anything I have. I have a feeling I've deleted a lot from my PC, but I should still have everything that was sent to the email address I set up. RTC: PM me your email address and I will see what I can sort out. I'd also thoroughly recommend getting hold of a copy of the Non-League Club Directory 2011, if you haven't already. I also looked at a lot of the local county FA websites for researching the smaller cups as well.
