RTC's English National League System Update - Taking FM11 to Level 11.

Same here. Although I have DVD version. I had a bunch of other editor files running mind.

Yeah our file doesn't seem to like other editor files which is why we are putting out a hot fix in the near future and a hotfix from RTC towers not from SI.

I have downloaded the lvl 8 version (the new one), have selected the lowest league, and I don't use any other editor files. But I still get Premier League teams in the FA Vase... Somebody a clue how this is possible?

any idea when level 11 will be released....tried adding it myself but found it a bit difficult

Level 11 is a big job due to the whole different leagues but we are working on it so it can be released asap.

The reason it wasn't working before was to do with a fault our end in regards to level 9 and 10 but can you make sure you aren't using level 8 1.02 please.

I'm very sure I'm not using that one. The name of the file is "FM2011 to level 8 build 1-1.07.dbc" and I downloaded it this morning.

Has to be something to do with your game as this is the first complaint post 1.02 that iv heard of this.

@RTC: Any idea of what it could be? I have patch 11.1 installed, and I have no other editor files selected

I'd try a clean uninstall then reinstall.

Ok, well... for some reason lvl 10 does not like me. I have tried everything I can think of, including running the most basic setup (England only, small db) following a fresh install of the game and it still crashes on Aug 6th.

Not sure if any of this may be helpful, but I have the Steam version, running win7 64bit, running no other editor db's...

Lvl 8 version works just fine, so I am at a loss to why lvl 10 will not for me.

The only thing i can think of is that your computer was struggling to run the level 10 file.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but where do I put the file if I'm using steam?

I managed to do this on the last version but I just can't work out what to do now.

Find the steam app folder and in there they should be a common folder click that then click the football manager 2011 folder.

I created a new game with the 1.07 release and holidayed it for a season. The FA trophy issue seems to be sorted but I'm still getting Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea in random county cup competitions. This is with Step 8 release and with all leagues available running.

We are aware they are issues with the county cups but right now we are working on level 11 and the county cups along with hot fixes for Level 8 and Level 10 files.

Hey,

My editor file doesn't currently seem to like most other editor files so if you are using another editor file then mine may play up.

RTC - brilliant. quick question though. i realise that the level 10, 11 etc is a massive task, but are you or any of the guys working on adding players to the teams that are now in playable leagues. obviously FM11 already has some players for some teams, but not many?

cheers

These are a couple of pics if it helps, game looks playable but dont know if i can try to buy players due to not being able to see what i can spend on wages

Chris in the FM10 version when you started at a level 10 side if they were amateur there was no expectations for the season no wage budget and no money for players. Once you got promoted to level 9 the club went part time and you were able to pay players and you got expectations for the season. You also got offered a paid contract as manager. I suppose at amateur status they board can't demand success if you don't have a contract or get paid

Thanks, sorry though you get expectations whatever level the club was sorry. I just took it forgranted that NU was not amateur and it was. Maybe playing a bit to high level, lol

Chris4Everton: perhaps the club is amateur, shouldn't be able to offer player wages then?

Hey,

Just a Quick Question. What would happen if I were to remove all of the cups that I don't play in from the Level 8 editor?

Say, remove the likes of the FA Vase and the various Level 9/10 cups which appear on the Level 8 add on, I'm thinking it may make my game run quicker that's all, also should remove bugs of random EPL teams playing in random county and lower divisional cup cups.

Also, how could I add the Essex Senior Cup myself?

I understand I'd do it through the nation rules of England, then it'd just be a matter of selecting the Essex FA County Cup as an 'other cup', then would I just simply add all the teams individually that are in Essex and then just selecting the dates and editing the structure?

Hi RTC,

There are 2 senior cups in the Worcestershire FA area, both are in the links below.

http://www.worcestershirefa.com/FixturesAndResults/CountyCups/WFASeniorInvitationCup/

http://www.worcestershirefa.com/FixturesAndResults/CountyCups/WFASeniorInvitationUrn/

They should be pretty easy to add as they are only for teams based ni Worcestershire, so there are not many teams to mess about with.

Here is a link to the Birmingham FA's Senior Cup as well

http://www.birminghamfa.com/FixturesAndResults/CountyCups/SeniorChallengeCup/Archive/2009-2010/?js=1&tab=results

Keep up the good work guys,

further to the issue where steve cotterill was at Notts co, not pompey etc, which fixed - i have my own little edit file (a few amendments i made) and i added 2 players who werent in the DB. Now Cotterills back at Notts Co, New York and Koln dont have managers again, and Notts Co have 3 assistants (inlcuding Ince, who should be their manager).

Did someone mention SI will be doing a fix for this? I seem to recall that the same thing happened last game (clashes) and a patch fixed it.....so im wondering, how did they forget about it this time.

Sorry RTC, obviously not an issue with just your update, obviosuly just when updates collide!!

Hi when I try to load the level 10 db I get an error saying there are too many teams requested for FA Vase (20 teams) from a english county div which only has 17 teams and the db won't load Should this be happening

In fact I get the same error message using the level 8 db as well

Is it something I've done wrong?
